Really pleased from the first enquiry I had a phone call the same day and quotation sent across the same day as well. Once accepting the quote the survey was booked in for the next week. When receiving the report it is far more detailed than I expected and laid out in a professional format and everything explained with solutions as well.Really impressed with Denise and her fast response in replying to emails and keeping myself updated.Fully recommend to anyone looking for a surveyor.

I received excellent and prompt service from Scott at a competitive price. He provided the most thorough and comprehensive report I have ever seen. This included photographic evidence for each room, along with outside drone photos, with explanations of every aspect of the property's condition. Advice and estimates were given for any necessary remedial work as well as a property valuation. This gave us confidence to have an in-depth knowledge of the property with no hidden surprises. I would have no hesitation in recommending Scott for any survey requirements.

I recently used the services of James Scott associates for my home buyers report survey.I selected the level 3 report which whilst is only slightly more in cost, has turned out to be a very wise choice.The report I have received was incredibly in-depth and gave me the right knowledge to make the decision on whether or not to proceed with the purchase of the property. Unfortunately for me, I will not be proceeding with the sale however I am grateful for the level of work clearly put into the report I received. Very poor service. The surveyor came out to inspect a cowboy job on my parents' conservatory (I paid for the surveyor upfront). He promised to send the report within two weeks. Two months later we finally got the report after repeated requests. The report wasn't as detailed as promised, but since we just wanted to move on with our claim against the builder, we confirmed it was fine and asked the surveyor to send out the final signed copy. We have never received it. My dad has called him several times and I have emailed him. We've both been ignored. The best part is he had the audacity to criticise cowboy builders. The words 'stones' and 'glasshouses' spring to mind.

I will give 5 star on the quality of the survey received and the lovely person in the office called Denise was great. The survey did take 3 weeks when initially I thought it would be 10 days.Personally I would also like a printed copy rather than pdf.
