Booked with family after hearing great reviews, and we were not disappointed. Everyone of us really enjoyed. The gammon steak was the best I've had, a little warning though, make sure you're hungry before you go as the meals are very big. A couple of things of note, the establishment is CASH only, which could catch you out. There is a cashpoint opposite, but if there was an issue with it, then it could be problematic, and parking is a bit limited. Overall, though, fantastic. Will definitely be going again

Really fancied visiting this place and taking my son for a birthday meal, i checked the website to see if a booking was required and found nothing on there so I then tried to call them but no answer.So When I arrived at 17:00 travelling 20 miles thinking all was good I was then asked if I had a booking, which I replied how do I do that as there is no way of booking on your website.I was very peeved off but luckily received a better service in the Railway in Nelson where I was seated

13 of us visited last Saturday, we ordered steak, fish, lasagne, gammon and various burgers. Everything was cooked to perfection, the homemade onion rings were huge and the service came with a smile! Go with an appetite because the portions are huge!! We will definitely be back soon xx

Lovely food & well worth a trip .. steak was more well done than medium rare but I would definitely return and try again .. the steak was a bit overdone for me but still tasted delicious
