Travelodge Dundee Central

Stayed before and it was fine but the room we had at the weekend was right opposite the casino entrance ..so noisy ! Never slept a wink both nights. Disappointing as we have stayed there before. The room itself was fine . Clean etc will deffo make sure we don't get that room again

Good location for visiting the city centre and easy access to the train or bus station. Clean rooms, good staff, hassle free check-in and easy checkout. Free parking with limited spaces and you need to remember to enter your car registration number at the reception tablet.

The location is good, close to a market, a restaurant, and a gym center.The location is just steps from the city centre, where shops, historical sites and a museum are located.They have their own free parking.

Staff friendly and helpful, when available.Room, a good size and clean.Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast in a takeaway box.Towels are very thin.No hairdryer!!!

It's a Travel Lodge. I get it, it's cheap but far from cheerful.Our room was spacious yet grimly spartan. The bed provided adequate comfort but it was in no way the King Size that you might come to expect from reading their blurb. But then reading in the dimly lit space will be a challenge.And there are no sockets by the bed, with which to charge your devices.Morning ablutions involve miniscule sheets of toilet paper, each almost thin enough to see through. Honestly using this stuff requires many, many sheets and still you run the risk of perforation. such fun.Then there's navigating a shower located in a narrow bath equipped with a curtain bent on sharing its clammy embrace.What happened to the 21st century?Staying here is like enjoying life though a lens clotted by an accountants pencil. I was left depressed and feelt mugged by an act of extreme penny-pinching.

Good location right in the centre of Dundee and close to shops and restaurants. Free parking as well. Room was nice but extra bed was broken on arrival hence room gets 4 stars

I would highly recommend staying here, rooms are really spacious, also has a bath and shower. Towels clean and fresh. We booked the disabled room for my Dad, which has a large wet room, perfect for him. Thank you to Tommy and Jenna who cared and looked after us after check in. We will definitely be returning .

Excellent location, walking distance to University of Dundee, Value for money, Clean & spacious rooms, friendly reception. Don't purchase breakfast. Dull, dry, cold breakfast.

Stayed over on a Friday night. I was a bit hesitant having read some past reviews about noise however it looks like they've addressed this by fitting an additional set of double glazed windows (so there are x2 double glazed windows, an inner and outer). I did hear a little noise in the early hours but it wasn't that bad to be honest.I had a small family sized room which was actually quite big and spacious with a high ceiling. Bed comfortable enough, felt soft-medium. Pillows good enough.Shower water flow not great in the room but okay. Could have been a little warmer.Staff were efficient enough. Upon arrival I confirmed my name and booking then swiftly handed key card. Not kept waiting. Also helped with key card in lift.Got the room for £57 for the evening. I'd definitely consider using the hotel again if I can find for a good price.
