re: 21/02/ 22 at your newland avenue shop in hullmy name is shane macklin and i would like to thankthe members of staff at this shop for coming to theassistance of my 86 year old mother who had a falloutside your shop. They sat her down and rang anambulance and gave her a cup of tea while she waitedshe had in fact broken her shoulder but is recoveringnow at home. im sorry i dont know who it was butwhoever it was went over and beyond their duty andmade her feel safe and comfortable they are a credit toyour newland store many thanks indeed i hope you willpass this message on and commend them for good servicemany thanks indeedShane Macklin

All the essentials present. Tesco up the road is cheaper but this store is very conveniently located and staff are also very pleasant.

I shop at Sainsburys regularly as the produce is very good quality, the shop is clean and staff are friendly and helpful

The staff are friendly but the store is cramed as it looks bigger on the outside than it is on the inside and for a Sainsbury's it's expensive

On Tuesday 28th March at about 4pm-5pm. I stood in the queue with 8 other people waiting to be served. There was two lady's on the counter who rung the bell and asked for 'third till please'. To which I heard the manager tell another shop assistant to 'ignore it. Get the delivery away'. The lady's then rung again at which point the manager came out from behind the wine section and told them 'your just going to have to cope'.Clearly customers come second in this store. To be honest if it wasn't for how embarrassed the lady's were behind the counter the manager would have been putting my shopping back on the shelves. I can appreciate stock comes in and needs to be out. I work for a building company we have to put 6 crates away in the shop from one delivery. But if a customer needs serving that comes first.

Awful staff that obviously don't want to be there, not stocked up until about midday, just walk up the road and use Tesco, much better in every way
