The staff are polite and helpful. The venue inside is nice, with a choice of rooms available. There is some limited parking available outside that is pay and display. If driving then leave plenty of time to get there as the traffic can be horrendous.

Appalling customer service. Very rude & unpleasant. Phoned up to book an appointment & was told they no longer do it over here. Was asked to take a note and when I replied I need few extra seconds because I look after the baby I was then told well

My niece got a call today from them today, 5 days before her wedding, which has been booked and paid for, for nearly 2years saying she can only bring 50 guests instead of the 70 that was booked for. Bloody disgrace expecting her to tell 20 guests not to come to her wedding after people have come from across the country and booked hotels and bought outfits. They aren't bothered how much they upset her. Needless to say we got in touch with Evening Chronicle and they are going to interview her and put in papers

I got married here in 2005 and it was a perfect venue for us. It actually has 2 beautiful ceremony rooms, 1 large room with red and cream decor and 1 smaller room with cream decor. The staff here are very friendly and happy to help you with anything on your big day. If you're having a small wedding ceremony but you still want to get married in a lovely room with luxury style decor then this would be perfect for you.

My wife and I got married here and the staff were very helpful, they were caring and understanding as well as patient. We are now using other services within this building and the staff are still friendly and polite. As well as very helpful. Parking is an issue and you need to find your own expensive parking around the centre.

Tried to get in touch with someone on the phone and must have been ringing for 30 mins only then to be put on hold in a queue for another 30 minites.Taking into consideration I was on a mobile which would have cost me about 20 pounds not to be able to get to speak to someone.It was a sensitive matter about a death and requesting a death cirtificates so had to resort to the old fashioned way of pen and paper and somebody at the other end will help.I'm not holding my breath.Wheres good old customer crevice gone for people who don't live local..Most of it is none existence. ..needs reviewing.

I got married here and the staff were great right up until they forgot to invite me, my best man and photographer back out of the waiting room on time so I missed my wife walking down the isle. This also meant that we didn't get any photos of this. They refused to do it again due to time constraints so that put a bit of a dampener on proceedings. Unfortunately that's the part that stands out in my mind.

I emailed late on Friday to enquire about booking a registrar for our wedding next year, only to be told there was no availability on that date. After a bit of back and forth by email I eventually spoke to Carol in the registration office. I don't know how she did it but she managed to sort it all out so we could go ahead as planned.If ever you've got a registration issue, ring Carol.
