Imagine you pay hundreds of pounds for a bike and as soon as they they your money, they do not care about you. I bought a bike, helmet and lock. however, I did not know how terrible their customer service is. I paid everything at once. BIG MISTAKE.Terrible customer service. I paid for my helmet and U-lock in the store. I left these items in the store and told them I would collect them the next week. Then, I changed my mind and wanted to return these items. They refused to refund the money back, instead, they offered a credit note that I could spend there. I talked to customer service while I was in the store, and they refused to refund my money back. I will never buy anything from Evans Cycles again and I do not recommend it to anyone. Very poor customer service.

Couldn't get a replacement headset anywhere but Paul said leave it with me, will get it sorted. Took a few days and kept me updated but sure enough sourced, fitted and bike back up and running. Even adjusted the disc brakes! Great service and fully recommend using this store.

Really impressed with service. Going into a cycle shop unable to ride a bike could be intimidating but the guys were fantastic with me and very helpful as I picked out my first ever bike, just a cheap starter bike that the guys were very honest about but didn’t try to upsell. Came back a week later with a few questions and quick fixes and they were on hand, no appointment, no charge, just sorted me out. Made what could have been really stressful and embarrassing into surprisingly easy. Really grateful to the team and will be back.

Stopped in, wouldn't help me with puncture, no mechanic and dude made up some nonsense about how my drive train made it nigh on impossible to do. Took it next door and was fixed inside 10 mins. Generally didn't seem to care just wanted an easy life. Won't be back.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Young lad from Leeds served us and guided us to the right bike for my 11 year old. Even though the store was busy, he took the time to make sure we got what we needed. Even advised us of other brands that were comparible, but only available from other stores.

So I recently got my bike wheel nicked I was absolutely devastated as my bike means so much to me. so for a few days had no bike. tried Halfords said they didn’t sell front wheels and wouldn’t help me.then found evan cycles they were absolutely outstanding and gave me a wheel.everyone should come here the friendliest staff I’ve ever met in a bike shop they’ve made my day thank you.

Really good people with plenty of information on the bike I have a trek bike and now got an electrical modyfox both bike are well looked after and get checked every year. Can't folt them give me the good and the bad of the bikes so I know where I stand

Excellent service by Paul (Assistant Manager). My bike was getting snapped rear spokes on a regular bases and when I took my bike in for a spoke repair they found out that I had a crack in the rim of the wheel. After fantastic guidance from Paul, he found a wheel set on the internet that would fit my bike. I ordered the wheel set and when it arrived at home, I took the wheel set to the shop and they were fitted in next to no time. Well done and much appreciated.

Exceptional store, great range of products for all levels of ability / expertise, highly competitive prices (and many bargains), 5 star shout out to Tom for his advice and patience, having sustained a brain trauma in a cycling collision 6 years ago I'm still slowly getting back into the saddle so I'll definitely be returning soon for bigger purchases
