My partner went in to the Selby branch to collect an item, and politely waited to be served. As the male assistant finished with the person in front of her my partner stepped forward, holding up her phone, about to give details about her on line order. At this point two lads came in asking for their bike to be fixed.The assistant completely ignored my partner and went on to sort out their problem.Eventualy the assistant turned to my partner and said by way of introduction NAME'?Customer service at its best?"

Dear Halfords Customer Service/Manager,I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent purchase of a birthday present for my child from your store. The Apollo MonsterZ 14 was supposed to bring joy and excitement on my grandchild's birthday, but unfortunately, the assembly quality and the multitude of faults it displayed have turned the entire experience into a complete disappointment.The prebuilt bike in-store at the Selby Branch had several components that were not properly attached, leaving them loose and wobbly. It was evident that little care had been taken during the assembly process, and this lack of attention to detail is completely unacceptable, especially considering the age group this toy is intended for. Furthermore, the numerous faults made it impossible for my child to enjoy the gift as intended. The wheels were warped, the brake wasn't working resulting in frustration and an increased risk of accidents.As a concerned grandparent, I find it concerning that a product with such glaring assembly issues and multiple faults was even allowed to be dispatched from the store. It reflects poorly on your brand and raises questions about the quality control processes in place. I had expected some craftsmanship and reliability from Halfords, but this experience has shattered my confidence in your products and services.I have now had to rectify most of the faults myself, also in-store we ended up using the demo bike wheel, which was also warped slightly. I have waited a week plus for this bike, as today is my grandchild's birthday. I hope to receive a prompt response from your customer service team addressing the concerns raised in this review. I trust Halfords will take this matter seriously and try to restore my faith in your brand.Sincerely,Ralph

Had some issues with the wipers on my Skoda a guy name Gav was brilliant.Very patient and thoroughly professionally, nothing was too much trouble for him. Refreshing good customer service in this day and age, needs to be mentioned Thanks Gav. 5 stats from me.

Booked in to have 2 bulbs replaced on an SLKFirstly told me I had ordered the wrong bulbs, until I explained which were being replaced and, actually, I was correctThe tried, unsuccessfully, to change them and failed miserablyI was credited back my money, but what a waste of my time!I would never recommend Halford for any fitting works

Collected my grandson Bike the girl was friendly and helpful with a smile

Visited Selby store today 28 October.Tom was extremely pleasant and helpful.However he was with a customer when we arrived and the other staff members weren’t interested. Two customers asked other staff members for help but they weren’t interested and poor Tom was left with a queue.FIVE STARS FOR TOM ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service from Garry at Selby Halfords today. He was very attentive, knowledgeable and proactive. Halfords need to reward people like this

Absolutely appalling, visited today 10th April around 10.45am Selby, Halfrauds was having a delivery and the driver from euro car parts parked in the DISABLED BAY.I was with a disabled woman as I'm a carer, an elderly couple could not get in because all spaces taken but this euro car parts van was taking up a space and unloading then driver sitting there doing nothing! This is absolutely appalling, these spaces are not for Halfrauds convenience either, they come out and tinker with vehicles parked in DISABLED BAYS and take up bays themselves!EURO CAR PARTS AND HALFRAUDS SHOULD BE ASHAMED!No reply to this review will be acceptable. Clearly both in the wrong.See photos. Directors should do something about this! Or are they not bothered about DISABLED PEOPLE!I'd give no stars if I could!Appalling!Just had a response from the owner as you can see.No I won't contact customer service!No I won't click a link!No I don't want to discuss it further!You should reprimand your staff and complain about euro car parts yourself without my complaint! Euro car parts and Halfrauds clearly don't car about Disabled people and the parking situation.Why do you need me to contact customer service????I've bought this to your attention so you should sort it out with delivery and your staff yourself!Clearly NOT A VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY DIRECTOR!AVOID THIS PLACE.
