My first time returning to Jacques in quite a few years, but an office Christmas party was needed to be had and it was here. My rating of the food was from the Christmas menu, based on value for £20 - Chicken goujon starters, steak pie main and sticky toffee pudding dessert.I can't complain about any of them, but none of them were spectacular either. The festive burger that a colleague had was not appetising looking at all - looked dryer than a camels armpit to be honest.But the service was good, the other patrons out for a good time and a decent night out overall.

Visited for a purvey, food was excellent, fresh sandwich, hot pies, sausage rolls, quiche. Cakes lemon loaf, banana loaf, coffee cake chocolate tray bakes. Everything excellent. Thank you

Fantastic delicious and resonably priced food. Dog and kid friendly pub with relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Took a friend's son in his wheelchair, and had lunch. It was great, lots of choice on the menu, and excellent staff. Very accommodating and a nice setting. We will definitely be back. Would be nice to see some salads on the menu for those that can't or won't eat anything else !
