Came across this place by accident. I had a toasted cheese sandwich washed down with a coffee, it was so delicious that I ordered another. Then ordered a cake to takeaway, it was so good that I phoned the cafe to tell them.Honestly the best cafe I'v been to in a very long time.I will be back.

We've been meaning to pop in here since it opened several months ago and wish we had done so before now!The Bread Of Life is a very pleasant, clean place with very friendly staff who cook the produce (cakes, sausage rolls, bread) in the kitchen to the rear. The food is really nice and cooked to order (toasted sandwiches) with the usual choice of condiments.I opted for bacon and brie toastie and had English mustard. So many places offer American style mustard nowadays which just doesn't cut it so this was a pleasant change. The apricot pastry was lovely. Not too rich and two apricots as opposed to the usual lonely single one you tend to get.The coffee (I had cappuccino) was very tasty and not too bitter. A range of teas are also offered. There's also a beautiful outdoor area to the rear with plenty of seating both shaded and in the sun.The toilet facilities can only be described as 'pristine'.We highly recommend The Bread Of Life so if you're local and read this do pop along and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as we did. We'll definitely be visiting regularly from now on.Opening times and menu in photos.
