Got things sorted

I got a house from the council because I had to run away from my previous apartment due to an infestation of rats. I got a house with a garden where there was a lot of rubbish left in the garden from the previous tenants. The council promised that it would come and take away the rubbish and to this day they haven't picked it up or tidied it up, I'm afraid that rats will also appear in my garden because it is messy and there is a lot of garbage. It is not fair that I have to pay for cleaning the garbage when it does not belong to me but to the previous tenants. Nothing can be sorted out with the Council, when I call they say someone will come and they don't, and I take a day off work and wait, but no one shows up. It's sad, but our Council works terribly and you can't ask for anything.

Deplorable service apropos bins from NLC. Don't empty bin and then say too bad so sad, case closed; go to a refuse centre, which I can't including due to covid restrictions.

Joke of a council, I have just spent 45 minutes trying to get through to a person and every option on their phone directs to an automated service saying they are too busy or just cuts you off, went to the website to make a complaint and I need register an account to even do that, shocking!!!

Very corrupted council who dont care

I called about A defective street light it's sending A low frequency pulse in to my house and there's A constant buzzing I have barely slept in weeks and my heads constantly sore and it doesn't come under an emergency. The only time North Lanarkshire do anything in A hurry is if there chasing money or helping family and friends get house upgrades there not entitled to

Terrible service, it is practically impossible to speak too them

They are terrible I’m calling them 100 times always speak with operators .. and when I finally speak with someone he said do it online but it doesn’t work so again call then for a 2 hours!!

Been complaining for four weeks about lack of community lighting in my block of flats for four weeks now. Since 13th Dec 2021.Still no response . Still no repair. It's now January. If I or any of my family slip and fall or cause themselves any other injury, due to having to feel their way along in the dark. I will take this council to court
