Gorgeous location, we stayed in the tabernacle which was super cute and cozy.Babs and Paul were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. Everything went so smoothly on our visit.Just a note, if you don't drive you will be relying on taxis. It's not overly accessible otherwise.

What a wonderful gem of a place nestled in the Looe countryside. Calm & Peaceful. If you're looking to get away from it all and have a tech detox, this is it. The town of Looe itself is under 15 mins by car, as are several other small coastal harbor towns, all with nice pubs and places to eat. A big shout out to Babs & Paul for making us all feel so welcome. Thank you!

This place is a little slice of paradise in the Cornish countryside, while having the added bonus of being close to the sea. We chose this as the venue for our little wedding. What stands out about this place is the beauty of it is equaled by the professionalism, talent and personalities of Babs and Paul who run the place. They work with you to make sure your wedding is exactly how you want it. We arrived super stressed, Babs immediately enveloped us with her calmness. We left, relaxed, happy and married! On the day itself, both Babs and Paul worked tirelessly to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible. Babs became an expert wedding planner, Paul is a genius pizza maker and both were excellent with the children and teenagers who came with us. We brought extra food because we were worried that pizza wouldn’t be enough, we took all the extra food away again because nobody needed anything else. We chose to get Babs and Paul to do a music set and it rounded the day off beautifully. I don’t use the word perfect lightly in reviews, but for us, this was the perfect venue, we had a perfect wedding and mini moon and the work of Babs and Paul completely exceeded any expectations we had. I can’t recommend them highly enough.Thank-you Babs and Paul for everything you did for us and continue to do in your little slice of Cornish paradise!

We had a vow renewal ceremony at Frieda and the Moon. Paul and Babs went to a lot of trouble making sure our stay was perfect. It really exceeded all our expectations. We loved the tame chickens and sheep, plus Little Man the alpaca, who was our ring bearer! The accommodation is lovely, really romantic and cosy. We enjoyed the large, clean hot tubs. The afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented. Paul & Babs helped us to organise a celebrant and hair/make-up artist, both of whom were excellent. They also made beautiful flower bouquets and a hairband for my daughter. The atmosphere in the wedding studio was very welcoming and romantic, with lots of candles. Paul took lots of photos for us. We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay and would thoroughly recommend Frieda and the Moon to anyone wanting a quiet escape or unique small wedding venue with a boho feel.

What an amazing place..My new wife and I had an amazing quiet wedding here early September 2022 and had the pleasure staying in the Tabernacle.A beautiful quiet, quirky wedding in the countryside is what we wanted and that is exactly what Paul and Bab's gave us.Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we loved. The venue, the Tabernacle, the views from the Tabernacle, the Hot-tub(torrential rain not optional in our case lol), the long countryside walks on the grounds and Wilson the dog, we miss his smiley little face.We had the pleasure of meeting Figgy and her owner on the day of the wedding, even though I lost all of my new wife's attention to an owl, it was still a wonderful experience to have a big bird of prey sit on your arm.The food that we were served was delicious, hand made by bab's with locally sourced meats and cheeses.Paul and Bab's made us feel very welcome and relaxed throughout the whole experience, My wife and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, quirky, romantic fun wedding. Unique accommodation, peace and tranquility. Great hosts, great location. For us provided the perfect intimate wedding venue. Highly recommend.
