Such a wonderful find. Having a puppy again I had forgotten just how bouncy they are and a mine has a mind of his own but very loving and playful. Debbie came into our world at just the right time. Gosh what a difference she is making and things I never thought of doing to help my little boy. I needed the training more than him. Debbie is so patient and encouraging and just wonderful so so caring. I whole heartedly recommend her and her services. The things my little has learnt and is still learning wow just fantastic. Not only is Debbie our doggy trainer she is now a lovely friend to us both. She has such dedication to our furry friends and deserves to be recommended. Our rescue dog was very fear reactive when we adopted him. He barked and lunged at other dogs and some people. Debbie has helped him to become a confident, friendly boy who now mixes well with other dogs and humans too. She has also helped us with separation anxiety issues for our other rescue dog. Debbie is professional, friendly, and uses reward based training methods. Would thoroughly recommend her services!

Debbie has been an absolute godsend for me and my dog, Isla.Isla suffers from separation anxiety; it was so bad, I literally couldn't leave the house. When we started the training with Debbie, Isla could manage for 7 seconds on her own, before she'd begin to show stress. We're now up to 27 minutes.I know without Debbie's guidance, I would have skipped steps, involved triggers quicker than I should or upped the duration too quickly so we wouldn't be in the position we are now.We still have a long way to go, but I am soooo pleased with Isla's progress, so we will keep plugging away until she is entirely happy.Thank you Debbie.

I contacted Debbie to help me with the extreme separation anxiety issues that we had with our 2 year old dog (he had an accident when he was young and was never left on his own, so he became very anxious when we went into the hallway!) Debbie was truly fantastic in helping us to get started with absences; we could only do a few seconds when we started but with her unwavering support and advice we recently achieved a huge milestone - we left him home alone for two and a half hours! Debbie is a knowledgeable, approachable and supportive trainer with unrivalled experience of dealing with dogs with separation anxiety. She also went out of her way to offer guidance with other things we encountered when working with her, eg, making a long busy Christmas trip more manageable for our dog, and helping him in his recovery from his castration. Debbie is amazing, 100% recommended. My 3yr old rescue and I have learned so much. She has helped address pulling on lead, barking, and more importantly my dogs confidence his barking is lowered with his growing confidence. I adopted a Romanian street dog. Brodie had been on the streets for 4 years. When he came to me from a pension in romania he was scared of a lot of things, he reacted to sounds, dogs, people in hats, high visibility vests, walking sticks, men, vehicles. I soon realised I would need professional help. I found Debbie from building Behaviours. I had weekly sessions with Debbie and brodie learned to sit, walk on the lead without pulling, learned not to react to other dogs, but I learned these things so I could help brodie. I learned why he reacted,and what to do. Today was our last session. Brodie walked through town twice,no reactions even though there was a lot for him to take in. Debbie is fantastic, I can honestly say I was really struggling and worried what I had taken on. She is kind and caring and I will miss her. We found Debbie in one of local magazine and my wife contacted her as we have a 7 month old cockapoo and we wanted to get her with a bit of training for taking her out and about in our car ,Debbie showed us how to train her with increasing her confidence with treats and slowly building her up she was really great with our Lizzie and when recommend her to anyone thinking about getting there dog trained.Thanks Debbie Tony and Val ( Lizzie)This is a new review.As would have read the previous review we contacted Debbie about Lizzie and her separation anxiety as we couldn’t leave her on her own so Debbie put a plan together for us and Lizzie it has took us about two months of training with the program she put together for us and it has worked out really good and today we left Lizzie for just over three hours we never thought we would be able to leave her home on her own but she did it, very happy with all the support Debbie has given us to help us get out together, so if anyone is having the same problem as we did please contact Debbie she can help you. We adopted Marcy, not knowing much of her history, from the RSPCA 4 years ago. It soon became clear she really struggled with reactivity to people she didn't know (esp men!) and other dogs! Whilst we had done a lot of training with her over the years, we just felt stuck. We still couldn't have visitors to our home and walks were still problematic.Debbie came highly recommended and we were not disappointed! After a couple of sessions Marcy was back on track and now able to walk past the majority of dogs on a walk. We also now have the tools to carefully help Marcy to feel comfortable with visitors. Vet visits were also a source of great stress for both Marcy and us. Debbie very kindly offered to come with us to an upcoming appointment and it was so much better than past experiences and we now know how to deal with them safely. We can't thank her enough. Will maybe try some agility with Debbie soon!

We rescued a Rottweiler full blood from Romania last year. He had been in a pound for approximately 5 months.We don't know or wish to know what he went through, but when we got him he wasn't very good with other dogs or people.He wasn't and isn't dangerous he wants to play with everyone. We think he was loose with all the other dogs so thinks he can play with every fog he sees, and reacted really bad when I took him away, even with dog a couple of hundred yards away.We tried a few things but they didn't work then we were told about Debbie. In the few months we have been working together the difference is unbelievable. I had to be trained first then Merlin. I now feel I have the knowledge and I am comfortable taking him out for much longer walks, this is an ongoing process and will take time which we are willing to spend on our beautiful loving friend.We could not have done this without Debbie.If you have a dog with problems Debbie had an arsenal of ways to help you as she had helped us.Harry Evans Mablethorpe
