Tesco Superstore

This store has gone downhill massively in the last 12 months or so. Not sure if it's new management causing this, but feel unwelcome from the moment you walk in the store. Store entrance is always blocked with junk, new security gates constantly have the alarm ringing, and the shelves are usually empty of most of the 'promotions', as well as not stocking the majority of the cheaper alternative brands. There's also usually a queue at the tills and self service, regardless of how quiet the store is. Very poor and a real shame from what used to be a very good store.

I am reviewing on behalf of the on line delivery team...Steve and Aiden not only turned up in great time but also managed to help us rescue our car that we managed to get jammed on a verge totally saving our holiday...gives you some faith in humanity. Not sure if this is the right place to review for this but let's hope they get something for being such great humans :)

Being a person with disabilities and just having had my first visit to Tesco, Callington, I was very pleased with the store.Firstly, parking is plentiful and easy, including disabled parking. The usual error was made in having this running in a line away from the entrance, when many of us struggle with walking any distance, but this is quite common.I needed a mobility scooter and the security guard was by the door, so I asked if he was in charge of them, as they were right behind him. He said he'd bring one around to me, but I also needed a quick visit to admire the tiling (also behind him), so he had it ready for me when I emerged.The scooter itself wasn't the best. I'm very glad to have the use of one and to be able to access it so easily in this store, but it was very slow, the turning circle was not good and the controls took a while to work. However, it's better than nothing by a long way.Both the youngster on the till and the till supervisor were very friendly and gave great service, especially when one item wouldn't scan and another didn't want to leave its security box!On returning the mobility scooter, the young (compared to me!) security guard fetched a trolley for my shopping to go into for outside use, and was again very friendly and helpful.I'll definitely be using this store again when I'm over this way.I'm off to take advantage of the great fuel price, now!

Badly stocked not a wide range like the larger stores no hot food counter or meat counter or fish counter and the bakery fresh donuts..... FROZEN theyre not freshly baked in store as the other review said its gone downhill massively the majority of the staff however are wonderful

We bought Rowes pasties in the Callington store. £5.25 each for two hot" pasties. Rather disappointing as they were stone cold inside. Not freshly baked."

Generally well stocked shelves and good selection of fresh fruit n veg

Such excellent customer services today by the gentleman in the tesco mobile shop who went out of his way to be helpful. Thanks also to the lady on customer services and the manager.

Veg purchased yesterday.. parsnips..rotting, already. The veg last no time at all, has to be eaten the next day, or it has to be thrown. Definitely not good shelf life .

Very friendly staff and good prices with loyalty card.

Ordered Click and Collect on Wed night for the next day. Had to go into the store to buy everything they claimed not to have in stock 14 hours previously. Mildly annoying but guess I still saved some time and got to choose my own cucumber and aubergines
