Update: My family went back to the shop and told the salesmen about the phone, I spoke to them and asked for a refund, they said this wasn't in their policy however they would exchange, the salesmen said the manager was not in until Monday and that he would probably say the same thing. In light of not completely wasting money I advised my family to just exchange it for a branded phone (Samsung), which appeared to be new and sealed. Unfortunately this ended up costing £30 more, which I wasn't aware of until later. I truly believe to rectify the situation a full refund would have been more acceptable, however as of now we have a branded phone which is correctly advertised. I hope this was just a case of poor stock that was not checked correctly, in future I would like to believe they will check all of their phones, especially second hand, to conduct basic tests and not just go off what is stated in the phones settings, which as a phone shop, they should know can be easily changed.Please note below is my original review, which was rated a one star. I have since updated and changed the rating to two stars. Despite my original comments, this review is written not to drive away customers but to get the business to hopefully,- Have better training to be able to quickly spot fakes (in my images, any person who is somewhat familiar with android can tell it is not correct from turning the phone on).- Implement a better refund policy, if these are truly mistakes, I believe a refund should be offered straight away instead of locking your customer into another phone, especially in this case for more money.- Post better pricing models and clearly advertise what is being sold, check a phone and conduct tests before pricing and displaying a phone.-- Original review --Do NOT buy from this shop. They appear to have staff who either have no idea what they are selling or they pray on tech illiterate customers who do not know what to look for.My family recently went in to buy a new phone for my sibling. Them being quite tech illiterate they were of course sold a phone originally priced at £300 however was sold to them for £100. This one was advertised as an MIX4, with Android 12, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.To start off with £100 for a phone with those specs should ring off alarm bells. When I got my hands on it you could tell from the get go that it is not android 12, even though the phone is programmed to state this. I cannot confirm RAM or storage however upon looking at the specs of the phone on compare websites it appears 16GB or 1TB is not even possible in this phone. Upon looking at, what is basically the phones BIOS it stated the true version of android being 8.1.0. Clearly not the advertised spec. Upon running it's inbuilt tests there were quite a few that failed, I expected a few to fail like FM radio or SIM detect however more tests failed then should've done. The phone doesn't charge on modern charges, for a phone that was meant to be released last year I expect it to be a complete fake.One thing I will say, is for the cut down price, the phone is in a condition that is acceptable, at £70-100 I wouldn't be unhappy to get a phone with with it's true specs, if I knew what I was buying in the first place. The £300 original price is a complete scam however. That being said any shop that sells phones that incorrectly advertise their specs is a shop that should not be doing business. It is completely fraudulent and I advise you not to take your business there.If the price feels too good to be true, it probably is.

Took an iPhone 12 Pro in because it wasn’t charging. After about 5 minutes of cleaning it was all good and ready to go and took no charge. Highly recommend! Great service!

I was so glad to meet Young Marshall Kane who served me and recommended the Galaxy Tab A9. I am so happy with this product because I nearly purchased a second hand product for approx the same price and it was not even the latest out in the market. Yes this young gentleman fitted a SIM card for extra memory. It really is the best move I made. He even gave me a discount. That is on the product, the SIM card and the screen protector. Happy to impart his knowledge.This friendly and knowledgeable man has offered his help with this product should I ever need it in the future. I think I’ve made a good friend.A really nice product. Top of the range in Samsung Tablet. I highly recommend The Phone Guys.

Marshall and the staff were so helpful.The customer service was excellent, they fixed my phone for a price that couldn’t be beaten anywhere else, their knowledge on phones and accessories is second to none. A fantastic local buisness. I would recommend them.
