Lovely ice-cream we visited with our family and grandchildren twice whilst in Newport and would recommend. My only niggle was despite the advertised opening hours, it didn't actually follow them. However, our persistence paid off in the end!

Visited on a Thursday around 6pm, they were busy and there was a bit of a wait for food. It seemed like some staff training too so clearly lots going on. I ordered for collection at 7:15. It was ready exactly on time and was freaking delicious! Crab gratin was mega, chips really good. All round excellent. It's a great sign when the commitment to food quality continues during testing times. Cheers.

Really a bit of an anti-climaxWaited till last night of stay and had fish and chipsThe fishConsidering the geography I was very disappointed with , I do wonder whether it was frozen?Not as tasty as I would expectThe chips were actually better !Staff were niceBut overall at £12.95 an experience I may not repeat next time I’m down

Visited midweek during what appeared to be opening hours according to Google. Others waiting around to see if it would open. Closed with no opening hours or additional information available on the door. Came back in the afternoon; similarly shut. Phoned twice with no answer. Website not working. Perhaps we’ll try tomorrow. Happy to remove this review if the operators can provide us some information. Keen to support local fishmongers but need to improve clarity of operating hours etc
