I have been taking my cars to The Powerhouse for over 10 years now so they must be doing something right. From MOT tests to gearbox replacements, they seem to be able to do anything. Very professional team, explain what they have done and why. A garage service you can trust. Oh, its also handy as I work about 5 minutes away!

I have been taking my car(s) for the MOT test to Powerhouse for many years and have received an excellent service every time I've been. I receive a reminder well in advance of the test date (part of their service), they always find a suitable time slot, and the test is carried out while I wait. I have mentioned Powerhouse to my family and friends and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

These guys deserve more than 5*. I am a motor trader from Manchester and a car we sold to a chap, lived near to this garage. I simply Googled Ford specialists near my customers address and the Powerhouse Auto was first in the rankings. I initially spoke with Rodger who quickly understood the situation and took great control of booking my customer in for diagnostics. Following this Dave reported to me the issues and gave an honest and straight opinion of what was best to do to save everyone time and hassle. A couple of issues occurred but it was all part of the process of fixing the issues but it didn't once drop in quality or efficiency. Dave kept me in the loop right the way through, and even assured my customer. Sue on the phone was also VERY helpful. I really can not find any words to describe how honest, efficient, professional and genuine this garage are ..... i would recommend people in the area to use this garage but i would also recommend people far and wide to travel to use this garage if you have an issue with a Ford vehicle. The fact that i was able to put my trust in to this garage (being so far away) says it all .... and the issues were resolved. Dave, Rodger, Sue and the rest of the team have really helped me out when they didn't need to, they went above and beyond. i would select 10* if i could. Thanks again to the full team .... Excellent service.Phoned at 9am to book my MOT; car was in at 10:30; call an hour later to say it had passed but my front tyres were on the verge of failing. They had 3 prices ready for me to consider there and then. Tyres ordered and replaced and I'm driving away at half 4 having paid less than I'd expected. Extremely helpful, friendly and reassuring.Could not ask for better.

I presented my car to this garage with an abs fault. They were very accommodating so no complaints there. However, when they did the diagnostics and created a strategy for work they then became a garage who are in my eyes unworthy of the title Ford Specialists or their high level star reviews. The so called 'mechanic' rang me after diagnostics to inform me that I needed from £2600 up to £3500 of repairs, inclusive of a new auto gearbox or full overhaul. They clearly do not understand what they are doing because I got the car fixed with 1 x abs wheel sensor (£7.50) and the turbine speed sensor (£180) plus two hours of labour. Cleared the codes and it is as good as it should be with no codes. This garage needs to re-train its mechanics and stop trying to con people. Any mechanic worth his title would have replaced 1 or all wheel sensors first before then replacing the tss sensor. Only then do you look at gearbox replacement if the cheaper work fails. I paid for diagnostics that told me nothing my own code reader didn't, but their repair strategy was appalling. Would never trust them with my car again. Please beware and have any unrealistic quotes double checked by a second garage. They were effectively writing my car off or asking me to spend over 10 x the money needed to actually fix the car.

Excellent service and good value. The team always do a great job. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Always do what they say they will do and on time. No nasty surprises. I trust them and have done so for many years. It is rare to find a garage that really does treat you as a valued customer. Thank you.
