SGM successfully delivered our remodelling project in 2022. Sam was a true professional throughout from meeting us to discuss our proposals to completion, always well presented and full of ideas. Sam's infectious enthusiasm and problem solving skills set him apart. As with all construction projects we did encounter unforeseen complications, but Sam was with us all the way and helped us through. We would definitely consider working with SGM on future projects!

Sam and his team have done various jobs over the years. Kitchen cupboards, bespoke spice rack storage, along with full renovation work of our new property.All the work has been carried out to a high standard, SGM staff or contractors that SGM get in for specialist works are always well presented. Sam is always on hand if not on site at the end of a the phone to discuss the current job or extra jobs. Highly recommend him and his team

The loft conversion ended up costing 150% more than the original quote, plus then SGM were looking for another £17k! This wasn't even to finish the job! On top of this, the job was estimated to take 6-8 weeks but was left unfinished after 6 months. Then SGM tried to take me to small claims court for not paying! There was a court order but SGM dropped the case. They must have eventually come to their senses and realised that it is a cowboy company. DO NOT TRUST SGM.EDIT: In response to your reply... There were no significant additional works carried out that justify this project skyrocketing from a £60k quote to a £115k bill! And the project was left with an unplumbed bathroom, faulty cladding and further issues that needed to be rectified.Furthermore, SGM has used photos of my house on Facebook for promotional purposes... AFTER SGM threatened me with small claims court!I am only writing this so that other people do not fall into the same trap I did.Also please note: I believe at least one of the other reviewers is related to the manager of SGM as they share the same surname.
