Room was nice. TV didn't work properly, couldn't use normal TV and the app they had on it crashed. Luckily could use screen mirroring but that was very blocky and bad connection. Plus the TV itself had lots of large blue splodges on the screen. The Spa Bath was good but not all of the jets worked and was a few bits that weren't mega clean but not too bad.Besides that bed was good, room was small but enough. View was okay only had one of the small square windows looking out from the second floor. Was a low to mid end room so wasn't expecting great things. Noise wasn't great either with every door having a knocker and some of the doors being old and not being able to close properly.Overall the hotel was nice but could do with a revamp. Staff were great aswell. The private car park underneath was a pain.Might stay again but only if can try a more high end room. 3/5

Absolutely stunning! The suite was huge!!! The bath divine. The front desk and staff was welcoming.5 minute walk from lime Street station, close the everything you want. Roo. Service was lush! I honestly didn't want to leave. And the breakfast. Cooked all fresh and just delicious.Thank you staff for being so helpful and friendly! If you get a chance to stay at this hotel. Do it. I promise you will not be disappointed

Arrived late on due to travelling. Arrived around 10pm. Only drinks available at that time were bottled beers, no soft drinks or bottled water. Had to go to corner shop. Not ideal after long day travelling. £100 deposit needed upon check in. Wasn't aware of this at time of booking. Bathroom had nice spa bath. Broken messy sealant round bath, ripped flooring and front of bathroom draw came off. Just glad didn't land on the ole toes!! Bed was nice n comfy. Air con didn't work using room controls so reception had to override it. The room was overly warm on arrival and you can't open window. Good location but I wouldn't choose to stay here again given the cost. Over priced for what is.

Parking good..Hotel is overpriced IMHO....rooms are OK but poorly lit and starting to look tired. Singles pushed together ain't a double bed!..TV was constantly flicking on and off.I know some hotels can be noisy but this was ridiculous...room next to us was raving till 4am, no room phone to complain, drunks kicking the door at night, noise from other rooms was audible...poor soundproofing. Toilets downstairs needed regular cleaning...won't be stopping again.

This hotel was gorgeous inside. The room was incredible quality. It was enormous with beautiful decor. It has a huge ornate style wardrobe and mirror, a beautiful silvery writing desk, and it even had a jacuzzi tub in it. (Apparently all the rooms are a different style so I'm keen to stay again and see what the others are like.)It would be useful to have instructions for the bath/shower/jacuzzi knobs. But the shower worked fine (I wouldn't have known how to use the jacuzzi, had I wanted to, though).I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked stunning, with lights and pretty leafy greenery. It looked like a magic forest!Loved the drawing of Bill Shankly and his quote on the wall opposite the lift. The staff were extremely helpful and warm. I loved staying here and would definitely come back. I have already recommended it to others!

We had such high expectations. On the plus side, fantastic location and staff were lovely. But.... it is in massive need of investment and refurbishment - the hotel itself is grubby. Our room had paper ripped off the wall, damaged furniture and the bathroom door handle had blocks of wood holding it together.we were woken up both nights with parties in rooms and people screaming down the corridor at 4am. Definitely not worth the money, sadly.

I don't even know where to start.Upon arrival, one of the lifts was broken, which was a nightmare as our room was on the fifth floor and lift, which did work across the other side hotel. The room we thought we were getting we didn't get.No bin in room for baby's nappies. No bed side lamps for kidsLess than half roll toilet roll in bathroom went to desk ask for more said OK but didn't bother bringing any up. Had to ask again next day.Was given a travel cot with a single duvet blanket for a six month year old, which clearly wasn't safe for baby.Sinks in bedrooms are too high for kids. Rooms are very run down.Spoke to the manager about getting a mattress for the baby and lamp for night light for kids. This didn't happen. He ignored my request.Last night at 3 AM. There was a load noise coming from next door, which was a boiler room. Woke 4 kids up and us. Lasted over hour. There was no phone in the room to call down. When I ran a bath for kids, the cold tap was warm, and it wasn't cold..Had to buy bleach for bath before use - plug was minging.Breakfast was awful, not much to choose from either.Teas was poured from a coffee filter jug apron request. No tea pots -On a positive note, beds were comfy. This hotel is not a family hotel. We travelled with baby, 5 and 6, and 10 years old. Two adults. And Needs a lot of TLC.

We arrived here for our 1 year anniversary all pictures online looked beautiful and the room I had booked had a spa bath and it mentioned of having tea and coffee etc… got into our room and it wasn’t like any pictures at all. There was mould all over the spa bath the door handle to the bathroom and just been stuck on a bit of wood that didn’t match the decor! The towel rail come off the bathroom door. There was a piece of wood stuck under the sink which was coming off. There was no tea or coffee in the room or hair dryer which was stated the room had.Very disappointed considering how much we paid. I didn’t have chance to ask for a new room as every time I was in reception it was extremely busy. When coming to check out we didn’t get asked how our stay was or anything as she was more bothered about talking to her colleague.

I didn't use the hotel but I did use the car park and it was absolutely ridiculous. The entrance is very confusing as the old booth is on the right side of the entrance road. We're not in the USA. Then the booth didn't release a ticket which confused us. We parked up and tried to navigate around a maze of a car park with old industrial equipment all over the place. Feeling lost and confused, we finally found our way to the exit where we found a queue of people waiting to get in once we had pressed the green button from the inside. This confused us even more and then once the door had closed we spoke with somebody who was trying to pay on the app but couldn't locate the car park on the app. I tried to download the app but there was absolutely no signal there so I had to head to Yates to connect to the WiFi. Once I had the app on my phone I also couldn't locate the car park. This was turning into a nightmare. I headed back to the door we came out of which was locked and there was no mention of the code on the app or anything in my emails. I had to wait until a car drove in and then followed it before the shutters closed. I eventually saw some very small QR code print outs that had been sellotaped next to the lifts. These are easily missed! I pay and it's not cheap either! When I return to get my car, there is a queue at the door again and nobody knows the code or how to get in. Nobody entered in their car that we could follow or nobody came through the exit so we could then enter the car park. I wander round and find the hotel lobby. I speak to the reception and the woman said that I just need to drive in and the shutters will open. I told her the situation again and she just repeated the same thing again. I said whats the code". She gave me the code. The manager was there in a white blazer and I said "there's a queue of people waiting and confused outside that car park door you know". She quite sarcastically said "well it's been fine for the past year but yes we'll put up a sign just for you". Disgraceful.I go back and the code doesn't work. Ridiculous. I then just tell the queue of people to follow me and we enter the car park through the hotel. I finally managed to get out. This was honestly like being in one of those escape rooms. Everything was a puzzle and far from simple. I want the management of the hotel to take note of this and make significant improvements."
