Doing work on a georgian Grade 2* listed property is not an easy process but this was helped by RISE's engineers who considered our requirements carefully throughout the design and produced a structural report to secure approval. I would definitely recommend them.

I approached RISE Structural Engineers having had a four year battle not only with recalcitrant insurers but also with two firms of useless surveyors whilst settling a subsidence claim on a block of flats I manage. With the remedial works all complete, I needed a Certificate of Structural Adequacy (CSA) so that I could transfer the Buildings Insurance to a much more cost-effective insurer. RISE certainly rose to the challenge by going through reams of historic documentation, assessing all the remedial works that had been done, and within just a week, issuing the CSA that we needed as proof that the building is now structurally sound. As a result, we have been able to HALVE our Buildings Insurance costs and are now in a much better financial position going forward. Full marks to RISE for really excellent service from a great team of people.

I asked Rise for a quick response on a minor (but thorny) structural conundrum. They came back within 24 hours with a quote and an outline solution. Thank you Rise!

I phoned for advice. Instead of a polite or gentle redirect I was told “we don’t deal with little things like that you need a one man band”. I was shocked as the job I needed doing was for over 50k. I understand that may be small fry for some however more importantly I was dismissed with contempt and not politely directed to a smaller company. I’m giving two stars as I do understand this may have been a one off. Everyone has a bad day.
