Ideal location for what we were after and it was reasonable cheap. Rooms are basic and was lucky to have a tea/coffee making equipment as there was no hair dryer.Most area are in need of some TLC or cleaning.Breakfast..... cold stuff was ok but the hot Breakfast was disgusting, most of it was either cold or soggy. next we'll look elsewhere

The good:Reasonable size room, which was clean. The room seemed reasonably quiet and the curtains were block out. A fan in the room.Lovely large towels. The location of hotel excellent-close to buses and underground which made getting around easier.The bad:Staff appeared indifferent to us when we interacted with them, a few were slightly more helpful than others. The first room we were given on the first floor had a broken bathroom door handle and the window overlooked the large bus station. We felt we would be unable to open the curtains (no light net curtain behind the block out curtain) without people being able to look directly into our room.We politely asked if it was possible to change to a higher floor, we were told yes but they could only give us a room on the second floor as those 2 floors were family or triple rooms (we had booked a triple room). We accepted and moved to a room on the second floor. Again we still felt the people at the bus stops (it was a busy bus station and had a large number of people at various times) could see in our room so we mostly kept the curtains closed which was a shame. It made the room feel smaller and a bit more claustrophobic.It was also very hot in the room at times, we struggled to get the air con to work so made use of the fan which really helped.On the first day after we arrived we put the sign (for refreshing towels, emptying bins, refreshing tea/coffee/milk and more toilet rolls if required) on the door at about 9.30am (the sign states it must be before 11am). When we came back that night we had been left fresh towels, the old ones had been left in the room and nothing else had been done.On the second day we again put the sign out at about 10am. When we came back the sign was still hanging on the door and no one had been into our room at all. I went to reception and again politely told the staff member what had happened. I barely got a grunt in response, she handed me a box to help myself to milk, handed me tea bags and 1 toilet roll. I asked for one more as we literally had none left. Again a grunt in response and handed it to me. No apology, no explanation and then she walked away.On the last day (check out was 12pm) we heard a knock at the door and someone say housekeeping at about 10.30am. We explained we were checking out soon and did not require anything. Even on going to check out, we were bluntly told put the room keys in the box and that was it. No did you enjoy your stay, nothing.

We (5 rooms) did a last minute company booking paying well over the regular price to attend a conference.If you book well in advance and pay the regular price well below 100 EUR your mileage may vary.The rooms look optically clean but very dated, the hotel overall looks mweh"

Stayed here on Friday night, before a training day I was part of running on Saturday. I parked the other aide of Vauxhall bridge on a side street (was free parking there all weekend). Room was fine, breakfast good. Excellent location. And next door to MI6, so pretty safe!

Basic accodation. Average sized rooms, bland decor and no room service. No need to report to reception every time you or a vistor go to your room is a great advantage. The girls at the reception are trying but they ain't the brightest stars... The surrounding area is very noisy but the location is perfect for great transport connections ( underground and overground stations as well as at least 20 bus routes just a minute away )

I was disappointed that despite phoning a few days ahead requesting a room with a bath tub that this didn’t happen, so had to do a few rooms before finding a bath! Good room with adequate amenities and a great central location. The real stars of the show and backbone of this hotel are the excellent housekeeping team particularly Lizzie and Rosa who went above and beyond to assist me with a smile. Thank-you!

The room was clean and in good condition with air con, which was needed as the window didn't open. I requested a double bed and received two singles. The receptionists were friendly when I checked in. There was no cooked breakfast and when I asked, was told it was on its way. Following a 20 minute wait I asked again and was abruptly told that I had already been informed it was on its way. I gave up and left without the breakfast I had paid for. When I asked reception, they informed me the cook had called in sick and apologised, but didn't offer any form of refund. All of the other customers had no idea what was going on. Perhaps some signage might have helped, if the team was too busy to communicate this directly.

Location is great, a 20 minute walk from the central London but it comes at cost of noise 24/7. The rooms need a better maintenance and cleaning upon arrival of new guests. The bedsheets were clean and tidy. The air conditioning needs to be regularly cleaned, as the inside filter was filled up with grease and dust.

The location is great with an easy walk into central London and it's right next to the tube station for ease of getting around. The room was fine and had the necessary amenities but I had quite a tough time sleeping with the windows not being openable and the air con not getting the temperature quite right.

First stay 3 night out of 4 room never cleaned even after asking. Housekeeping even hung the do not disturb" on my door after I went out leaving " please clean sign".Back for a second stay . First room the air con didn't work
