Cute little place with nice food. There's a separate dog only section which was great and the staff were really nice about our dog being vocal at one point!

Went on Friday with family who came to visit us at caravan park. 4 had fish and chips myself and my wife had mince and dumplings absolutely delicious. Went back Saturday lunchtime and had steak pie wife had corned beef pie again delicious would highly recommend.

Food was nice only problem I had was it was a tight portion of meat for the priceOnly 2 stars because the customer service wasn’t nice felt so uncomfortable, the lady who served me was fine with the regulars but she seemed very off and abrupt with me and my partner, anyway not our loss because if they had been nice with smile on faces more friendly then me and a partner would have gone for breakfast for the week whilst we was staying in Newbiggin. To all tourists STAY AWAY take your business else where

Visited Newbiggin by the Sea on Saturday and we decided to go to this restaurant rather than get a take-away as it was very breezy . We were very disappointed with the fish and chips. They were a bit expensive and I have had better crinkle cut chips at home.

ok prices but i was seriously impressed by how little energy the staff had. talking in the most monotone low energy voice made for an unpleasant experience. food was very average but i guess that is reflected in the reasonable prices

Awesome experience. Great customer service and great food. Unfortunately I was given a seat next to Brad Thwaightsie so had to listen to his monotone voice for an hour.

Breakfast (served until 11 am daily, as the menu specifies) was delicious. The coffee was top notch and the shopkeep did a marvelous job engaging us. While some menu items seemed more expensive than others, the specialty items of the shop were cheap and scrumptious. Quaint atmosphere with locals abundant. Would return, especially for the poached eggs!

Would like to thank Michelle for all her help while I was on a day out in Newbiggin with a young disabled girl I look after. Emily uses a power wheelchair and needed somewhere to go and have her lunch. Emily also needed to have assistance to eat. Michelle kindly heated Emily’s dinner ( at our own risk ) and allowed us in the restaurant with no fuss at all and wheelchair access. I enjoyed my lunch of homemade quiche, salad and chips with a lovely cup of coffee. Very polite staff and excellent service. Would highly recommend. Keep up the good work x
