Furniture Village - Watford

I had a great experience at this lovely, large store - Mike Shah was kind enough to help me. I wanted a reading chair but didn’t know what sort (and I’m quite picky). Mike showed me a few chairs, narrowed down what I wanted and then took me to the perfect chair like magic! I’m thrilled with it and can’t wait for it to arrive. Thanks again, Mike.

We communicated during our sales discussions that our house was still under construction, and they assured us they would accommodate our needs by holding the items and arranging delivery at a time convenient to us.As the weeks went by, we received multiple calls from their team informing us that one of our orders was ready. Despite reminding them that our home was still not ready, the sales team insisted on immediate delivery. They even went as far as to threaten cancellation of our order if we did not comply.Left with no other options, we were forced to impose on a friend, asking him to store our new furniture in his garage.

It was our first time visiting and and then purchasing from Furniture Village when we were looking to replace our living room sofa setting. We had visited all the other shops in the Watford area and came back to FV as the best choice.Mike, was patient and gracious throughout our return to purchase, even helping to occupy our children with drinks and a biscuit, to help us concentrate on our selection. When it came to the purchasing, Mike was helpful to ensure we got the best deal possible.We were very impressed with the quality of furniture and the selection on offer.We’re now awaiting our sofa set and can’t wait!

Wonderful customer service. We were served by Nina who was very friendly and helpful. Made the purchase process easy for us. We highly recommend Furniture Village, especially the Watford store. They always have very good quality and great finance options.

Our sales guy Anthony was a breath of fresh air compared to others we have spoken to recently in competing shops. He was very helpful and treated us like a valued customer rather than an inconvenience. Highly recommend.

Extremely furious and disappointed by the service. Purchased a 2.5k sofa on 29th October at Furniture Village in Watford, and was told it will be delivered before Christmas, estimated delivery time 17th December. Since placed and paid for the order we received no updates whatsoever. Today 14th December, received a call saying that it’s not going to be delivered until end of the month 30th December, which is unlikely as its end of the year so probably no sofa until next year, which is extremely disappointing as I have holiday booked so all my plans are ruined. Salesman assured us, we don’t need to worry as sofa will be delivered before Christmas and we bought it based on this, but they don’t care about you, they just want your money.NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM FURNITURE VILLAGE !!!!!!!!

Sells sofa's that cannot last 3 months of use, beware of purchasing any item, deliveries delayed, multiple issues with items, and out of pocket cost to fix. Be especially careful of protection plus, doesn't protect or fix anything, just an extra they sell. Overall, avoid.
