We had a family Communion at the weekend. The setting was excellent, staff were very attentive and accommodating. Food was excellent

There was 11 of us at the Georgian on 16th Dec, right from the get go it was a fantastic, a lovely welcome the food was amazing compliments to the chef and kitchen staff , bar and waiting staff worked very hard and polite , Brenda's the general manager very nice and helpful as was another guy that made sure all was good with the tables , also entertainment outstanding we will definitely be back for party time next year . Thank you all and have a wonderful Xmas x

Would definitely NOT recommend as meal was poor and staff/management are NOT interested.We booked a table on Sunday 23 October 2022 for my 35th wedding anniversary as we had not been there for a long time and knew it had been really good in the past. I had the Sunday roast but some of it was hot and some was slightly warm and there was what looked like congealed gravy on my plate which was very off putting. My husband had fish and chips but it was just average and the batter wasn't crisp. Neither of us finished our meals. I reported this to the waitress and she asked me for contact details, which I left, as there was nobody there that could deal with the complaint. She said that somebody would contact me but it is now 9 November 2022 and I have not heard from anyone. I got the impression that I was being fobbed off and since nobody has contacted me, I know now that I was right to feel that way. All in all, not a pleasant dining experience.I did not understand why there was nobody there to deal with my complaint and my daughter has worked in hospitality for over 10 years and she also did not understand why there was no supervisor or manager there to deal with my complaint at that time.

After a stressful evening we needed a last minute hotel and The Georgian Hotel was very accommodating and a big thanks to Steven for helping us out would definitely recommend this place!!
