Inside Ours

We undertook a major renovation to turn an 80s cottage into a modern open plan living and dining space in a countryside location. We wanted an interior design that could coherently incorporate the cottage feel with modern styling. It was important to connect to the garden too.Top of our requirements was for the rooms to be warm, inviting, sociable, personal and design-led, but not so much of a slave to trends that it would soon feel dated. The rooms presented different style challenges: north-facing for the dining room and south-facing with lots of glass for the living room. But they both needed to feel bright and airy in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter while remaining connected. We needed help pulling all our ideas and eclectic(!) mix of homewares together.Toni gently coaxed us away from adding too many colours to the palette, cleverly edited our stuff and came up with multiple ideas to reuse or recycle existing items.It was very exciting to see our brief plus Toni's idea's laid out in the presentation - it really did look like the end result. And it was no trouble to tweak the visuals to show different options as things evolved. It was great to see her intuitive styling unfold when she came to the house.She worked tirelessly to find things that were on budget and timeless - finding investment pieces and high street items that worked together seamlessly.She was available to us at all times, sharing in our enthusiasm and guiding us back on track when we weren't sure of something. She took the time and hassle out of finding the right product at the right price and kept everything on track by being flexible and attentive.We can't say thank you enough - she nailed the brief and added more to it - and we love living in our new rooms. We will be using Toni for many more rooms to come.

We contacted Toni following a friends recommendation and we were blown away by her! She is so friendly and easy to communicate with and she really listened to what we wanted. We asked her to redesign our lounge and second sitting room in our 1930's terraced house. We were on a budget as it is not our forever home and Toni was able to work with this budget, come up with a brilliant design that looked fantastic when mocked up, and it was really easy to bring to life. She delivered a fantastic presentation to us and gave us an excel spreadsheet with links to all the products which was absolutely invaluable and made the process so easy. She found us fantastic bargains online without compromising on quality, and found items such as good quality rugs which will easily work in other spaces if we move house. We have nearly finished the work now and our house feels like a new home - we are really enjoying being in the spaces and they work so much better for our family. We could not be any more delighted. When moving house again we will be including a Toni budget as we would 100% work with her again.

We'd never considered using an interior stylist as it seemed an extravagance we really didn't see the point in - especially as we have a strong sense of our own style and enjoy creating a look for our home. However, when we moved into our new home we were gifted with Toni's services - which we now realise was the best housewarming gift we could ever have!We really enjoyed the whole process working with Toni to create a cohesive look and feel for our new home - and cannot overemphasize the value she brought to the project. She really listened to us and understood what it was we wanted to achieve and then she took it to the next level.When she delivered her presentation of how she planned to bring our ideas to life we were absolutely blown away. It was just so exquisitely beautiful, and we loved all the details she'd incorporated which made it feel so personal to us. I think we then wondered whether it would really end up looking like the presentation - but it did! It absolutely surpassed all our expectations and seeing it come to life was just the best.In a really short amount of time, Toni helped us transform our house - her skill in styling a room is just breathtaking - you walk into your house and it's like walking into a magazine shoot. Even if we had the skill, we would never have found the time to make all the finishing touches that she did that just create the wow factor. Not only is Toni just so much fun to work with she is a phenomenal project manager - she made our budget work hard and delivered everything we asked for and more, on time. If we were to move house again, we would definitely invest in her services again.

Toni helped turn our house into a home. She worked so hard to make a modest budget reach as far as it possibly could. During difficult times (covid, post Brexit), with delivery dates, prices and supply chains in a constant state of flux, Toni continued to stay on top of all the options. She spent time to understand our family, our tastes and our backgrounds. Using this data, she created a bespoke design, which we could never have achieved alone. Toni has created a wonderful design for my living room, which I am enjoying bringing to life. Toni made the whole process so easy from start to finish and has created a design I am confident will work. It was a tough brief, with a lot of elements of the old room I wanted to keep which didn't quite work together and yet Toni has found a way to bring them together with the choice of wall colour and new pieces of furniture. She completely nailed the brief first time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Toni!

We contacted Toni at Inside Ours to look at creating a monochrome nursery to celebrate our boys 1st birthday which would take him from a cot in our bedroom to a more fun but relaxing environment that was completely for him – somewhere he would want to spend time which hopefully meant not sleeping in our room!We had ideas of what we wanted but couldn’t quite figure out how to bring it all to life or where to start. Our first consultation with Toni was her spending some time with us all as a family – in our house and the nursery space – to get an idea and feel for us (and the project). She then came back with a brilliant mood-board and ‘wow factor’ design that helped us visualise the new space and to also give us the confidence to just say go for it.Toni was also instrumental in finding us so many gorgeous pieces for the room using independent and local brands which we’ll keep for years to come and made us feel good about supporting small businesses. She was also so aware of the details that when it came to installation she was in the room with her sleeves rolled up sticking hundreds of tiny triangle stickers on the wall so they were perfectly reflecting what she had in her creative vision.Long story short, it’s the care and attention to detail that truly made the design and we couldn’t be happier with the nursery – it is now my favourite room in the house. On top of that we have had so many compliments and it has even been used in a photoshoot for a children’s brand.

We initially contacted Toni to design our daughter’s bedroom, but we were so impressed with her approach and suggestions that she ended up designing and styling two bedrooms, a play room and utility area for us. She took such a holistic view of our likes, home and lifestyle. Everything she created for us was completely personal and practical, but also just beautiful. We feel really excited about our home again, and our children are so excited to show people around. I cannot stop recommending Toni to people, and people keep asking for her details after seeing our rooms. She works incredibly hard for her clients and is an absolute dream to work with.

Came across Toni’s Instagram page on Instagram and fell in love with all the designs. Toni was initially and has been consistently super responsive and was very accommodating for my response times.We worked through the designs over a 6 month process to create my dream living room. We have used Inside Ours services for two home properties and an office workplace and I could not recommend them highly enough.
