Food hygiene rating is a 1 star out of 5 whilst displaying a 5 stars on their front window. Place is tired looking and they still have the covid screens up for some reason.They take cash only which is likely tax avoidance, and the two young girls behind the desk are clueless. They just stood there while my kids waited outside in the rain with the dog and I waited a whopping 45 minutes for a simple order of fish and chips. I actually had to ask them to hand it to me in the end, waiting twice in line for the same order.This isn’t high grade food, it’s meant to be fast food. It just sat on top of the heaters in a bag while the two girls stood around with a gormless look on their faces. You can sense the attitude on them as well. What a disgrace.Never again. Bad for you anyway, double bad since it’s such a poor hygiene rating!

Quick bite to eat of Chips and a Battered Sausage.Chips and potion sizes were good.It was the day of the Fireworks at Kentwell hall so the place was extremely busy with only 1 person serving.Food was good but for the event that was going on, it definitely needed more people serving.

I seen that the hygiene rating went down to 1……. From 5 which they are still advertising. We have always loved this place and thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt. Well I have loved to regret that today, so unwell with food poisoning, within the time line it has to be from here, I had chicken balls which didn’t taste like they usually do, resembled exactly that of reheated ones, being a fat greedy bit I continued to get through them. They should really not be using the 5 rating they are displaying. Such a shame because this was by far the best around.

I ordered Singapore fried rice noodles with vegetables. The girl went behind counter to check ! Got home and it’s full of meat and fish ! Phoned to say mistake and no refund given even though their fault ?! Very bad service and no offer of refund due to their mistake

I have to say that this was my first and unfortunately it will be my last visit to this establishment. My order ribs in honey very good nice and tasty. My wife had chicken curry with egg fried rice the first piece of chicken did not taste right but the rest of did not taste great so she ate the rice and curry sauce. I had sweet and sour chicken balls and egg fried rice. The balls were a bit greasy and the chicken was very sinuey I only ate two and ended up eating the rice with the sauce. I have to say that I was very disappointed. I suppose we have been spoiled as we usually use Youngs in sudbury

Really tasty food. I was pleasantly surprised. I am always nervous trying a different Chinese takeaway, after being spoilt with the best Chinese take away in Suffolk (Youngs) and tried Chips n Chopstick tonight when Youngs were shut this evening.

Best fish and chips in town, hands down! The batter is light and crispy, and the fish is always flaky and flavorful. Can't resist ordering from Chips n Chopstix whenever I'm craving some fried goodness.
