We cannot recommend ABC IVF highly enough. They have been fantastic from day one, we had one cycle of IVF with them and have now completed our treatment, it worked first time and we are expecting identical twins at the end of the year! Our nurse Deirdre was with us from the very start and right through the entire process, she was fantastic, so knowledgeable, reassuring and friendly. Thank you to ABC for everything you have done for us.

We first contacted Abc IVF at the beginning of May after having 2 unsuccessful cycles with another local clinic. From the first point of contact they have been amazing. So caring and informative we couldn’t fault them. We are waiting to start our cycle with them in the coming months and for the first time in years I feel very comfortable and confident in the treatment we will receive. I can not comment on the care throughout the cycle but I’m sure it will be great!

3 stars are given because I did get a baby girl out of it.However my experience was stressful. To begin with I really wanted to go through the egg donation route for a couple of reasons 1 because it was less expensive and 2 because I’d love to be able to help others but I was talked out of it because they gave reasons on why they didn’t think I would have enough eggs to proceed. So went through the standard route with ICSI. During my IVF journey I was constantly having to chase information down. And trying to get through to anyone or get a call back could sometimes be near enough impossible. For example I had to chase when I was meant to be taking my trigger shot a couple of hours before it was due because no one told me.When it came to actual procedures I can’t fail the clinic they were professional and it’s was a clean environment. After egg collection they tell you immediately how many eggs they collected despite on my last scan having on 6 mature follicles on my last scan they managed to get 22 eggs which meant I could have done the egg donation I was talked out of and Meaning I wasn’t able to qualify for the fresh transfer we had paid for. I was rather upset and insisted this was the option I wanted. They didn’t back down but did compensate me a free frozen transfer. All in all the communication and trying to sort things while out the clinic is stressful but when you’re there inside. The staff are wonderful and the environment is clean.

Unfortunately our experience has been a mixed one with ABC. If I was writing this review based purely on the clinics and the clinicians we have dealt with through this process we would be leaving a 5 star review. We have been through our first cycle of IVF with ABC and throughout the process from a clinical stand point we have felt well cared for and in safe hands. The other side of our review accounts for the unacceptable service we've received from the coordination team, once the payments are made you become a number lost in the system and find it nearly impossible to get hold of anyone in the admin and coordination team. The Key issues we encountered were:Availability of appointments for scans, we registered at the St Albans clinic and were told before treatment started that our scans would be conducted there and then the procedures for egg collection and transfer would be at another site. In the first week of scans we went to 2 different sites, both of which were a 3 hour round journey, as there was no availability at the clinic. When we raised this with a consultant she was able to get us appointments at the clinic showing that there was availability but there was something not working with the booking process. We were not effectively walked through the process regarding freezing of our embryos, the consultant on the day of our transfer spent over an hour trying to get hold of someone in the coordination team to talk us through the costs and options, without his kindness on the day we would have had no-one there to answer our questions. Our biggest frustration has been the follow up process following our failed cycle. We called the clinic and emailed our coordinator as directed, yet again we experienced two very different approaches. We received a call from the nurse the same day and a follow up clinical consultation the following day. I messaged or called to request a call from our coordinator every day that week to try to arrange our next clinical follow up and set up our next cycle, it took 5 days before we heard from her. When we did hear we were left in the dark about lots of our pricing questions and the follow up process. We don't feel like the coordination has been acceptable. This is a very emotional and tiring experience, we would have expected more from the coordination team in regards to walking us through the process and following through on actions. We will be continuing with ABC for our next cycle but this is based solely on our experience with the clinical team.

We had a very positive experience with create fertility right from the beginning to the end. The staff were lovely and everything was explained well to us throughout the whole IVF journey. I became pregnant first round of IVF and now have a healthy 3 month old baby girl. I would recommend this place.

We are happy with St Albans IVF clinic. Everyone was so nice and helpful, especially Deirdre. She was amazing, so caring and helpful. Answer all of our questions. She called after the treatment just to check how we are feeling. There were a few changes to the account manager, which weren't great, but overall, we were very happy with the company. After the second treatment, we have our beautiful, healthy daughter and one more embryo frozen. Will be great if they will open more clincs especially one in Milton Keynes.

I had a great experience with the St Albans clinic. Deirdre was amazing and went above and beyond. The ease of getting to this clinic rather than travelling into London for my scans made it less stressful. I was successful on my first transfer on the first cycle and currently waiting to hold my baby girl in 4 months time.
