I have a small business and was interested in finding out more about how I could market one of our products more effectively. Dave clearly has a thorough knowledge of marketing and PR, in particular, digital marketing which was my main interest. I used to work with David when we were both starting out in PR. He's a generous and supportive colleague with a keen understanding of media and public relations. In the time I worked with him, he developed a range of creative strategies to gain coverage and brand recognition for campaigns as diverse as Scottish raspberries to science centres. When you're eating breakfast, David is already at his desk, focussed on the task in hand and reliably producing results for clients day after day. His single-mindedness is directed with brutal efficiency at any task, from rolling up his sleeves to pen a press release or produce the contact report which becomes a reference work for months, right through to his personal goal of a sub-3 marathon. Personable and confident, David imbues meetings with authority and is rarely lost for words. As an employee, I saw the other side of his charscter, too: a compassion for his staff and a genuine desire to make the world of work work for everyone. David is that rare thing in public relations - an honest, sage and approachable communicator who tells it like it is.

David is great to to work with and highly professional. I have provided photographic services to him and his colleagues both at his present job and previous ones. Events are always meticulously planned and discussed in advance to ensure the smooth running of the job and to maximise the coverage from it. I have found David to be open to ideas and to have great skill in making sure the results fit with the brand image. A pleasure to work with.

Dave is a 'does what it says on the tin' kind of PR guy - results driven, tenacious and always on the positive.He's a hard worker but also know also when to kick back.
