Brilliant job. Needed an urgent gear cable fix on my road bike and he got it turned around in 24 hrs. He even made a couple of other tweaks for free. Very good price and would definitely recommend.

My sons new bike had slightly spongey feeling brakes (disc) from day one out of the box. The Bike Man degreased the calliper and rotors, bled the brakes and swapped the pads. The difference was unbelievable. He also adjusted the cantilever brakes on my sons CX bike and I couldn’t believe the difference. Great local repairer who takes pride in his work

I was having problems with gear shifting so I contacted 'The Bike Man' via the website. Bearing in mind it was Easter Sunday, I expected to hear nothing back until later in the week, but Nick got back to me and offered to look at it straight away. He put the bike on the stand and identified the likely problems and went through the price to put them right.A couple of hours later, my bike was ready. When I went to collect it, he had freed and lubed the cables, re-aligned the rear mech and indexed the gears. He also told me that he had also noticed that my brakes needed adjusting, which he had done, no charge.He also pointed out some things that I need to be aware of in the future.A real thorough job and a reasonable price. I will certainly be using him in future for my bike needs. Highly recommended.
