Appalling Customer ServiceOrdered some fabric - website showed it was postage free ( i.e.not just free for a sample) Received invoice confirming that the shipping costs were £0.00. Following day was sent email saying that I had not paid £11.94 delivery charge. Sent several emails, in reply, explaining that at the time of order no postage costs were applied but had no reply - however during that time I noticed that the website had been amended to automatically include a shipping charge of £11.94. Phoned the next day and was made to feel that I had somehow manipulated the order to get free postage. They denied amending their website since I made my order. In the end they grudgingly 'admitted' that there must have been a fault with their system - but ,as they had no intention of honouring the transaction that I made in good faith, I had to cancel and demand a refund.I feel strongly that they should have honoured the transaction especially as it was their mistake. The attitude of the person who dealt with my call left a lot to be desired - obviously no idea of how to treat customers.I have since ordered the fabric from another retailer. Even though the material costs slightly more they do NOT charge postage for fabrics.I would not buy anything from Grange and Woodhouse in the future.Have just noticed a new review and would like to add that I do not call a delivery charge of £11.94 good value on a purchase of just £16. The retailer that sells the same fabric charges just £2 more for a metre so obviously this is the best buy. I would not have made an order with Grange and Woodhouse at all if I had been aware of the extortionate and totally out of proportion delivery charges for just a small purchase. In any case, the bad attitude of the person that I spoke to and their unwillingness to honour my order was unacceptable behaviour.P.S. Beware the 'good review' posted by a person apparently acquainted with the managing director of the company - make of that what you will!!!!

Nice service but no suitable sofas or beds found for our needs

Superb customer service, have completed several home makeovers with a variety of fabrics all of which are of high quality and recommended by other upholsterers. Will most definitely be purchasing from Grange & Woodhouse again. The store manager was most helpful, enthusiastic and sourced exactly what I wanted!!No problem with additional carriage charges as fabric sold was much less expensive than other stockists !!Most satisfied with shop service & after sales support !! Will be purchasing additional cushion fabric soon!

We had a fantastic experience in store. Diane was absolutely amazing. Are intention was to start there then go along the various stores. Well we didn't need to go anywhere else. My daughter got her couch, table and chairs all delivered the next day. Amazing and can't thank di enough.Thank you.
