St Clements Nursing Care Home

My Mum has been a resident here for just over a month. She has received outstanding care by all throughout her stay. Thanks for making her transition such a positive experience.

We brought my 95 year old mother with dementia to Norwich from London, not expecting her to live for very long. She has been in St Clements Nursing home for 1 month and has improved greatly, she is enjoying the company, beginning to remember things again and eating, something she has not done for some time. Initially I was surprised to see so many staff, the care is exceptional, the staff very helpful and caring.

Not happy as husbands folks both here and due to an illegal process from eldest grandchild to get power of attorney, they need permission by all surviving children, they didn't even ask or obtain. The home (manager Marie) will not even let us know what is going on with folks health saying need to speak to ......., there my husbands folks !! My husbands folks didn't want to go into a care home, grandchild put them there, before illness took hold. Now social services cover there care, crying upset lonely they feel. Rant you can say but before those g'kids put them into care ,we where there emergency contact for them ,when they where in sheltered housing for years. Seriously pissed off but respect my husbands fathers wishes as some paper had to be signed by him to name a power of attorney even if he wasn't fully aware, but no way to prove, religion for you(close ranks !!) Careful of what and who signs.

This so called Jane a useless manager, (repeat) see previous review if don't believe!!! up the phone voice Was heard, byJane goodness sake these people don't get it ,do they . daughter has now moved onto carehome in Suffolk. Thank goodness"

My wife has now been here for approximately 3 weeks and the care and attention has been really good . I truly wish now that we were given help to move a long time ago. Since we moved everything has become positive and my relief has been very obvious. Once the building works finishes it will be absolutely fit for purpose with staff that go way and beyond. Thanks to everyone at St Clements Nursing Home, both my wife and me are so happy for the care received.

Very kind caring and friendly staff. Cared well for my grandparents making them as comfortable as possible in the time they stayed there. Always friendly and treating the residents as they would their own family treat the visitors with respect too.

I visit regularly as an entertainer for the residents, and always get a warm welcome. The home really feels like a home, and the staff genuinely seem fond of the elderly people in their care.
