We were lucky enough to be introduced to David through our close friends. I met him at their wedding and then saw their beautiful wedding album and knew his style was exactly what we wanted - natural, bright and full of love and happiness! He really is amazing at his job!We can’t thank David enough, he managed to capture everything so beautifully from the venue, to the flowers to all the special moments; the first looks, the ceremony and the emotion and essence of the day. It is funny how much you forget as a bride (it really is a whirlwind) so it was amazing to see each moment again - we can’t stop looking through our album.David has such a kind and calming presence which was lovely to be around, he’s an all round wonderful person which put both my husband and I at ease. It is safe to say we are not naturals in front of the camera but you wouldn’t know this from our gallery - he’s captured some beautiful candid moments which are so real that it honestly takes you back to that exact moment - it’s a real skill!Everyone has been singing David's praises, not only because the photos look like something out of a magazine or hollywood movie but because he’s such a nice guy, he fitted in with our family and friends perfectly.When planning a wedding there are so many big decisions to make but this one was a no-brainer for us and we feel so lucky to have had such an awesome photographer - we couldn’t recommend David more and feel blessed to have found him!

I cannot put into words just how amazing David was on our wedding day . David has a genuine passion for his job and making people happy whilst delivering an exceptional service.We felt like David had such a big part in our day as so many of our guests were so complimentary of David as a person and his professionalism . If anyone is reading this review and wondering whether to hire David as their wedding (or other occasion!) photographer: definitely do it! We are so glad we managed to hire David as our wedding photographer. The photos are amazing and we have received so much feedback to say they are among the best wedding photos our guests have seen. David somehow managed to capture so many different angles, locations, parts of the day, guests, close ups, long shots and couple photographs without ever being flustered or pushy. We had seen his work and were aware of his accolades before hiring him, but honestly the photos were even better than we could have imagined. He is also an absolute dream to have there on the day - so friendly, funny and able to put everyone at ease. Wish we could have him as our personal photographer for all occasions! Where do we even begin... We were so thrilled that David was available to capture our day. I had seen his fantastic work on social media and had my heart was set on him capturing our day. He was the first person we secured for our wedding and from that point on, David has blown us away.David was easy to contact, incredibly organised and efficient which made planning our day seamless. David took the time to get to know us as a couple and find out what we were about and what was special and important to us. No task for David was too challenging... he even agreed to start his day off extremely early, capturing the groom and the grooms party head for a morning swim! These photos have created such a fun start to the story of our wedding day.On the wedding morning, I felt totally at ease. In fact, I hardly knew he was there (in the nicest possible way)! The shots were so subtle yet stunning and he went above and beyond to capture the fine detail.My husband and I really enjoyed having David as part of our day. He fit in with all the guests and actually, felt like one to us. He was so professional throughout, yet fun and enthusiastic. Despite the gale force winds and rain, David utilised the weather to his advantage and created some incredible shots with my veil! His timing was impeccable throughout the day, as was his attention to detail. He managed to capture so many moments we did not even know were happening and we could not be more grateful.Because the weather was challenging, our evening plans for a coastal shoot were not possible. However, David went above and beyond for us to get these coastal shots and sacrificed some precious family time to achieve this the next day. We have been absolutely blown away by these images. He dedicated so much time into ensuring the perfect wedding coastal shots. David's photos certainly make a statement and we have received so many wonderful compliments about them all.We are incredibly lucky to have had David capture our day. David has created the most magnificent story through all the images from start to finish. It was a total joy and privilege to have David as the photographer at our wedding. He perfectly captured the day from start to finish, including the smallest (but still very important and special) details, expressions on the faces of our guests at key moments throughout the day and, most importantly, the feel and ambience of our wedding. It was a crisp December day with frost and blue skies - looking at the photos we remember perfectly the beautiful countryside surrounding us and how we both felt!We really loved having the opportunity to get to know David first with an engagement shoot. This meant we were much more relaxed in front of the camera on the day itself, as well a giving us some lovely photos of the spot where we got engaged.It goes without saying that David's photos are stunning, but most importantly to us, he was very unobtrusive and discreet. We wanted everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and not take up too much time having photos taken - in fact we hardly even noticed any photos were being taken at all.We will cherish these forever and are incredibly grateful to the huge talent that is David Wheeler. ReviewWell where do I start ! I was lucky enough to meet and work with David at a friends wedding many years ago. It was a pleasure to watch the him work and just mingle into the wedding without anyone really noticing he was there. Which is why we had to have David capture our wedding day memories.He was so professional and organised which made the day even more seamless. We couldn't recommend David highly enough. His photos of our wedding captured the day perfectly and bring back extra special memories in a way we believe no other photographer could!David is an extremely talented photographer. His work has a unique, iconic style which will literally leave you being unable to stop looking at your pictures. His consideration of lighting and proportions in each of the photos he takes sets him high above others in his field. He's magic! You can't go wrong.On a personal level, David makes what could be an awkward experience genuinely fun and puts you at ease. I cannot recommend David highly enough for wedding photography. David photographed our wedding in October and was just amazing - very professional, clearly very experienced and a nice guy too. It poured down with rain on our wedding day and I was so worried about not getting the shots of us/our venue that I wanted, but David wasn’t phased one bit and managed to capture so many beautiful photos for us - So much so that I couldn’t care less that it rained!! He was also great when we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. Really understanding and helped us move our booking with him very easily. Thank you so much David, we’re obsessed with our photos!!
