Ablemove Removals

I sold my house in April and moved into my new home in September. I was so impressed with the service from start to finish. I was provided with a large quantity of boxes as I wanted to do that myself. My effects were packed into large packing crates within the lorry that were stored ‘as is’ and then brought to my new home and unpacked. Everyone, from office to removal staff were so kind, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The house I moved into was quite small and there are a few tight spots but they did an absolutely amazing job on what was probably the hottest day of the year. I would and am recommending Ablemove to anyone who will listen ;-) Thank you for taking the stress out of a stressful process.

We were very happy with the removal. Access was complicated but the crew handled it exceptionally well, polite and good humoured throughout. Great care was taken at all times, at both ends of the removal. We couldn't have wished for better. Would happily recommend.

We moved last Thursday, the weather was atrocious but we have nothing but praise for Ablemove. Two men came the day before to pack, very efficiently too. On moving day, they were on time and once again very efficient, working so hard. They took all the worry away and nothing got wet! We have no hesitation in recommending Ablemove to anyone, they're the best.

We selected Ablemove to move our belongings from our former house in Bath into store and then move them all to North Yorkshire (didn’t expect it to be six months). In addition, they packed up and moved my 90+ year old father in law’s belongings to another property in North Yorkshire.I was very happy with the estimate, and the estimator, and was assured that Ablemove could complete both moves safely and successfully and hence reduce stress to the customer during a very stressful period.Our belongings went into seven large containers over two days. Father in laws’s went into a large transit van and trailer to move from A to B.Every contact I had with Ablemove has been positive and reassuring. In particular, their removal teams have been amazing, whether it’s completing a difficult entry to a property, performing Tetris to pack our goods into containers, or delivering all our goods in a massive lorry and trailer and disgorging them into our new house in under four hours, with no fuss. The office staff have been brilliant too.Use this firm for your house move from A to B or into storage. In my view, their charges are very reasonable and my entire bill for a move from A into store, store for six months and then move from store to B was less than the estimate of a bigger firm based in Bath for a move just from A to B.

On both occasions (a move to your storage & storage to new property) Daniel & Ben were an absolute pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and throughout both moves they were a credit to the company.We didn't have too many dealings with the office but when we did they were polite and efficient.We liked the proactive phone call at 0805 on the day of the move to let us know the lorry would be delayed due to one of the crew being ill.I have used Ablemove in the past so recommended you to my elderly mother. She liked the 'can do attitude' of the estimator when he came to survey the property. The price was also a considerationTo sum up…… totally professional from start to finish.

To be honest, they stored our goods for a long time and then delivered them when we agreed. The upfront sales person was great and appreciated the amount of art works and ceramics and said we would be looked after. The packing up was frantic and difficult to follow and I don’t believe very much attention was paid to paintings / ceramics. The items stayed in store for 5 months (we had originally expected 6 weeks). It cost a fortune and the insurance was high (we paid extra for the art). We hadn’t relished (very small print I expect) that when we booked a date for delivery we had to pay a big deposit which would be lost if the date changed (even by one day). The delivery arrived the day we expected but with a speed and abandon which was shocking …. Fortunately the only thing broken was a minor notimportant candlestick. We unpacked the art work ourselves as I wouldn’t have trusted them in any shape or form …… we had paid extra for a proper packing/unpacking service. The main bloke was in a really bad mood when they arrived … he told me as much but said it wasn’t our fault !!!!!I should think not!!!!!!To be honest I wouldn’t recommend this company to move me again.
