Had the most amazing experience learning to drive with Wakefield Driving School. The well planned and structured lessons ensure you are learning to pass your test the right way, making you a better driver in the longer term. Ian is so patient and is more than happy to answer and questions you may have about driving- no matter how silly you might think they are! I passed my test today and i am completely over the moon, i couldn't recommend Wakefield Driving School enough!

I couldn't recommend Wakefield Driving School enough! My driving instructor was incredibly patient, calm, and encouraging, and made learning to drive a very enjoyable experience. The lessons were structured in a logical way which made it easy to understand and improve. I felt fully prepared and equipped to pass by the time of my test, where I passed first time! Can't recommend Wakefield driving school enough! After having a not so good experience with my first instructor, at a different school, my confidence had been hugely knocked when it came to driving. However after my first few lessons with my instructor Ian, that soon went away. Wakefield driving school supply their student's with a well formatted lesson plan, as well as patient and dedicated instructors. It's incredibly clear that they care about their students, and the quality of driving that comes out of their school. It was honestly a god send finding Wakefield driving school. Thank you again for all the help and support.

I can’t recommend Wakefield Driving School highly enough. My instructor (Ian) was patient, encouraging, and methodical in his teaching style. He knew exactly how to build my confidence, and I passed my test last week (September) with only two minors thanks to him. A genuine top person who is a natural at teaching, and I’m going to miss my lessons now that I’ve passed! Also worth noting that the school has put all the precautions in place for Covid to ensure its students’ safety. All round, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a driving school. Truly excellent.

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Ian at Wakefield Driving School. I passed first-time and went from a complete novice with no driving skills to being a confident and competent driver. I really can’t imagine learning anywhere else. Each lesson is really well planned out and there’s no wasted time. I didn’t expect to progress as quickly as I did or to become such a confident driver. But, looking back, with such a genuine and enthusiastic instructor, I’m not surprised that I made great progress. I’d highly recommend Wakefield Driving School if you’re looking for quality driving lessons in Wakefield that are extremely well thought out.

I would 110% reccommend, Ian was the best driving instructor i could’ve asked for, he’s calm, patient and a very good teacher. I passed with only 3 minors on my first test, and so have many others. Such an excellent instructor.

I am so thankful to the Wakefield Driving School for the guidance and support which has allowed me to pass first time with only 3 driving faults! When I started my lessons with the Wakefield Driving School I was new to the area, new to cars and had little confidence in my hand-eye coordination. Thankfully from the start of my first lesson to the day I passed, my instructor had total faith in me which gave me the boost I needed to drive with confidence. The structured course and driving manual was a perfect way of learning for me. It meant that I could read about the following lesson so I always felt prepared, which does wonders for pre-lesson nerves when you are starting out. I also think it is hugely beneficial to students that the Wakefield Driving School incorporates practice tests into the learning process. By the time my real test came around I knew the structure inside out and how it would feel driving in test conditions. I actually quite enjoyed it! I am very glad I chose the Wakefield Driving School and would recommend to all prospective drivers, and particularly those who are quite anxious about driving like I was.
