Really nice atmosphere, freshly prepared and cooked food not like some chains with prepared reheated portions. Very pleasant staff provided excellent service. Prices are good, not cheap like Wetherspoons but in a totally different league. If you want cheap beer, cheap food and scruffy drunks staggering around then go to Wetherspoons, if you want a nice comfortable place, fairly priced where you can relax with partner or family or group of friends this place comes highly recommended. I have used this cafe/restaurant a lot ov the last few months and have loved the food, customer service has been excellent. However my experience today was vastly different. A Gentleman who I haven’t seen before was working the till he had on a blue shirt so maybe he is a manager. His attitude towards the customers was very rude and unprofessional to the point where I was Going to order dessert but didn’t want to go up to the till so I went elsewhere.

Good selection of food but I felt prices of some things were overpriced, such as the fish and chips. The atmosphere is pleasant but so many tv's. We ordered 3 chicken parmos and a scampi. The scampi was a large portion so more expensive but when it arrived, comparing it to other establishments, it was not a large portion of scampi or chips.They were delivered to the table in a reasonable time but without cutlery which came afterwards. We could only praise the food it was very nice but when you are paying Tipsy Cow prices you expect more than a few chips in a wire basket. What's wrong with putting them on the plate?Overall I'd go again but wouldn't have it as my 1st choice.Good menu choiceNicely cooked foodSome items overpricedChip portions too small

Nice enough place with a nice covered area out front and fairly cheap, 3 drinks was just over £10. But the first drink I had I noticed a few bits floating in it as I was nearing the bottom of the pint and the second pint the glass was dirty round the rim. Kinda puts u off a bit.

I rang a few days before to ask what time they were serving food until, they said 4.30 pm, we got there at 4.10 pm asked for a menu and he said you have 5 mins to order. We went to the bar to order and he said your 5 mins is up, I turned around and he took the menu, so half of our table had ordered and half hadn’t. He was rude and impatient with us and when I asked for a pot of tea, he pulled a face. We’ve been there previously for breakfast and it was lovely but I’d never go for tea again. Very poor customer service.

Great food as always from here. They have a range of food and drinks available and cater for allergies such as coeliac. I had a gluten free Sunday lunch (it is advisable to call in advance) but they made sure everything was safe and it was delicious. All my family really enjoyed their food too and they’re quite fussy.

We were 3 ladies at lunch. Great choice on the menu all reasonably priced. Quire busy but added to the atmosphere. Definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Dropped in for a quick pint after work, not too bad to be honest, we left around 6pm and it was starting to get full which is always a good sign on a midweek day…. The only thing I would say is that the lighting when we were in was a little too bright and harsh, the ceiling downlighting could do with dimming a little, they sell craft beers and currently have a few offers on as well, we will return for another visit and maybe some food next time which looked nice when they were delivered it to other tables.
