Francis and Chappell did my father’s funeral 18 months ago, and my mother’s today. Would I recommend them? Absolutely not. For both funerals I had to constantly had to constantly chase them for things to happen, we ended up with an incorrect order of service, the whole process was stressful. The only reason i gave one star was due to the funeral director James who saved the day on both occasions. He had the sincerity, compassion and went above any beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.

Arranging a funeral is a very difficult thing to do. I chose Francis Chappel for my mothers funeral because Mum had used them for my dads funeral 34 years before. Kim at the Crawley branch was excellent and made the decision making as smooth as possible. We could go into the branch or phone anytime if we had any questions, nothing was too much trouble to her. When my husband and I went to see Mum for the last time Kim was there if we needed her and although it was so sad we had lost Mum she looked at peace. I am so glad we decided to use Francis Chappel and say a big Thank You to Kim and the whole team at Crawley.

Kim & Keeley were empathetic, caring and gentle through out all of the arrangements. They answered what felt like endless dumb arse" questions with patience. On the day of the funeral Nigel was excellent

Do not use this firm. Cancelled an initial consultation last minute. Proceeded to try and pick up my Mum’s body from East Surrey with no instruction from ourselves. Only correspondence we have had is arranging a consultation and them cancelling.How can you work without an initial consultation, let alone instruction?!

I cannot explain just how impressed I am with the way Francis Chappell arranged my husband funeral they went way beyond my expectations and absolutely nothing was too much trouble anything that I wanted altered or rearranging the booklet.I cannot praise their kindness and attention to detail just so glad I used themthis
