Went there with some friends so they could watch football. W got some soft drinks and sat there, the employers, two of them came to us after about half an hour asking if we want alcohol. We said no and they kept insisting and complaining about why we don't order more drinks, because it's expensive to show football etc...Really sad treatment of customers, we were forced to buy more. Would never go back, just killed the vibe.

Don’t eat here - very disappointingWe had lunch on Friday 25th Sept. The food was poor.Nice enough pub and staff member was a friendly fella; but there are better motorway services and roadside vans for food.

I usually don’t complain much but this experience is disappointing. We ordered a meat sharing platter which is overpriced, bad quality and definitely not worth the price £18.95. It came with 4 skinniest microwaved pork ribs I’ve ever seen in my life, 4 bad flavoured microwaved dry skinny wings, 4 obviously not fresh corns, slightly okay mac and cheese and some wedges. It was awful but we finished it anyway as we don’t like to waste food especially pre paid food. Beers were alright. So I’m warning you don’t order the sharing platter, maybe other food are fine I don’t know, but don’t order the sharing platter.

I had the Lasagne, which was tasty, but far too much strong cheese melted across the top.This was hot and bubbling when it arrived, however service was so fast, it did not seem as hot in the middle. Pre-cooked obviously. Very nice, maybe food thermometer could assist that point. Side salad gorgeous, the grated cheese on top of that, not necessary with this part, especially with cheese laden lasagne. Allow remaining salad with balsamic dressing to shine on its own, very tasty. Chips were hot and plentiful.Service was a chap who had stepped in last minute due to sickness, juggling front of house, did an amazing job.Think the lady who welcomed me, was in kitchen after the man was ready to serve (we arrived together).General menu is quite small, but varied choices. Dessert option ice cream only, bit disappointing.Duchess of Cambridge formerly Hudson's, yes I look forward to returning.Just be mindful of your food reheat core temperatures xx

Nice quiet pub on a Sunday. Excellent roast, great burger. Nice selection of beers, but would love to see a larger menu. Staff are brilliant. Dog friendly.

Absolutely the best place I eat in a long time. Everything is fresh and done in what I will call as home made". We will definitely go back and bring friends with us.If you love traditional romanian food or just good food in general this is the place to go.Wish there were more stars to rate ..."

Me and my friends found this Pub where they served Romanian Food wich was prepared by Felix and by the way was amazing .best Ever Beef soup and Beans with Roast pork joint. Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!! James was amazing as well serving us .will definitely come back !!!!!!!!!

Popped in for a bite to eat. Really nice pub, great food & beer. Only reason for a 3 star score on atmosphere is because it wasn't very busy, us and two others.

I Went there with some friends to watch football. We bought drinks. Before we had finished our drinks the employers, came to us saying we need to keep ordering otherwise they'll kick us out. We said no and they kept insisting and complaining about why we don't order more drinks. Eventually we did buy more because they were getting rude and aggressive in their words.Terrible Pub, AVOID. There's one not far away go to that one. The regulars said that this happens all the time at the pub because they are doing terribly business wise. I can see why they are.

I had a very disappointing fish and chips lunch. The fish and chips were rather poor quality for the money, but the 'mixed leaves' that came with it were an absolute joke. The quality and size of these meant that they just weren't worth eating. Service was quick, but I didn't feel that the server responded well to my complaint. The beer I had was fine, but overall things seemed overpriced based on the quality of the experience. I won't be returning.
