Brilliant walk on the good old train track... no vehicle so safe for dogs and children... but mind the bikers...

Was a pleasant walk however the views are somewhat ruined by roads and industrial zones we were also attacked by feral children who lives in the caravan park nearby

Marriott's Way
Very disappointed with our recent visit to the Marriotts Way. Well marketed as a long distance cycle way but actually nothing of the sort..... Compares very poorly with many other national cycle trails that use long disused railway routes as their foundation. The Marriotts is quite often dangerously narrow for family cycling. The variety of surfaces offer the full compliment of riding experiences, from smooth well maintained to mud plugging monotony. I would recommend as a footpath(wearing wellies in June)but there was little else to find enjoyable from a leisure cyclists point of view. It's a shame that this wonderful resource seems to be returning to nature, perhaps that's the long term policy... rewild and forget.

I use marriott's way most of the time if I cycle into the city, this is the way I choose to go. No traffic, its a popular route, nearer the city it is lit at night but most of the way you will need lights on your bike..It also a nice walk, if you head towards Drayton or into the city, you can stop by the river in places, it nice in the summer especially...In some places it does get slightly muddy if its been raining. The route goes all the way to Aylsham, one day I will complete it..

Ideal location for walkers, with or without dogs, cyclists or joggers. It covers many miles and is a great walk for me and my dog
