Awful waiting times. Had 3 visits this week with my pet. Total waiting time past 2.5 hours. Why do they bother giving you a booking time??Secondly. We adopted a rabbit. Was told he was four years old. He had his jabs and was neutered. Two days after we got him, we brought him in for a checkup. The first error they made. He was 16 weeks old, not four years. He had no jabs and was not neutered. Not a great experience.

Unfortunately the staff are very under trained in the aquatic section.The poor Betta fish lying still at the bottom of their tiny tanks."Schooling fish stocked in huge groups in tiny sections of tank massively over run by snails.I'm not sure if their marketing technique is to make you feel sorry for the animals so you buy them."

Never recommend Pets at home especially when buying pets from there. Bought my hamster 2 weeks ago and its ended up in the vets severley under weight and bad legs from being mistreated.Staff don’t have a clue what they are talking about got thrown RSPCA in my face in the Gloucester store over buying a second hamster you can’t go throwing RSPCA when you can’t even look after the animals yourselves.Get some training and not tell me your all vet trained when you clearly aren’t and calling the vets liars for saying you can buy 2 hamsters

Several staff members clue less regarding fishes and tanks set up. 3 months after- been given 4 male and 1 female guppy and constantly have breed. Not allowed to bring fish back....Ornaments after 2 months in the tank started flaking the paint off, again been told that 28 days return doesnt apply as over 2 months and thats regular wear and tear! Paint flaking of in tank regulat wear and tera? Oh come on!

some items are way overpricedbut overall great customer service, very clean and a great experience

Most of the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! I've got numerous pets and feel totally comfortable popping in and asking any questions knowing I'll always get great information

Manager is an arrogant idiot obviously had no customer relationship skills cant even be arsed to speak with a customer regarding taking two fish in seperate tanks angel fish together for 2 for 12 or something had no interest in talking and joke is had fish in separate tamks amd same size guy is a clown and dont see why in earth have him in management wounldt know small angel fish slapped in his miserable face.well when need my dog food or anything regarding fish will take my money elsewhere and would recommend anyone else do the same bretby garden centre have bigger selection amd more nicer staff that actually want to engage with there customers. feel sorry for the poor staff working for that must be hell

Took my hamster onyx in today was made to feel very welcomed when it came to giving her lots and lots of fuss, hoping she is on the ment with these anti biotics
