Vision Express Opticians - Cardiff

Absolutely scammers, staff aren’t friendly at all. Manager booked an appointment to bring my glasses in to see what problem I had. Finished my shift early to visit them, managers was not there & the staff who served me wasn’t helpful. My glasses were under warranty and asked me to pay for a new frame which their frames aren’t any good enough to waste my money on. I wouldn’t Recommend this place to anyone you better off going to somebody professional with respect. I will not be paying my visit here again waste of time and money to be honest.

Just come from there, I complained that my £500 glasses were scratched despite having scratch resistant coating and only two months old. Very rude manager I overheard telling the person you was seeing to me that it’s tough if I scratched them it’s my problem.Rang HQ to complain turns out they are still under warranty- Shame on you for not even checking!All sorted and repaired after a call from their HQ. - changed to 5 star

Not a very good impression on my first time visiting this store. 2 women on the till with no people skills, not even a warm smile when l approached the counter, just a blank look and told to take a seat ". I observed other members of staff just sat chatting amongst themselves slumped in their chairs. Absolutely disgusting Customer Service so l decided to leave and go elsewhere. Very unprofessional store unlike Western Avenue. Will never visit this branch again."

Went to vision express in st David’s centre Cardiff for eye test was seen by a delightful young lady who was professional and caring the whole experience was reassuring —many thanks Steve halbert

Shocking service. Staff dont talk. Staff dont understand the ordering process. Most of the staff are there for just the payday and dont care about customers. Unhelpful, unprofessional and a long drawn out appointment that could be easier if people read notes.

Visited the store on Friday with my husband, both for an eye test. I would highly recommend Vision Express Cardiff. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would also like to give an extra mention to Mihai, he went the extra mile and helped us both, always with a smile.

It was absolute chaos when I popped into Vision Express during a visit to Cardiff on a busy Saturday and ordered two pairs of glasses. The assistant didn't know how to operate the ordering system and had to seek help from a busy supervisor multiple times. I have no idea whether I got the right glasses at the right price. And I paid A LOT of money for them (over £700). I arranged to pick the glasses up at my local store (Wells, Somerset) but they turned up in Cardiff instead. No surprise there. When they eventually arrived at my local shop, that local shop couldn't have been more disinterested. I got a cursory glance when I tried them on (they look fine") and that was it. A terrible experience which I can't imagine how it could have been any worse."

I visited the store with my girlfriend while she was having an eye test. Whilst waiting I discussed my broken glasses with a worker called Mihai. He was fantastic and sorted both my glasses out which had been slightly worse for wear. He was very approachable and very helpful.

With enormous gratitude to Cardiff branch for picking up not 1 but 2 problems with eyesight. With his professional experience ( he knows who he is), both problems were rectified with surgery. I can't thank him enough. I am more than happy with the service, thank you.
