I have been suffering from issues with my sinuses for many years. Dr Kariyawasam has taken time to really understand the problems I have been experiencing and work on solutions to ameliorate my symptoms. He explains the scientific mechanisms of the drugs that he prescribes in layman's terms which is very reassuring.

The experience with Dr Kariyawasam is what medicine should be - he takes an integrated approach. After years of chronic sinus infections he ran a battery of tests and has identified a combination of problems and devised a treatment plan to systematically address. Through his understanding of sinusitis, asthma, allergy and immunology I finally have answers, symptom relief and a plan to solve for the long term. I've recommended him to a number of people in my network and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone that has ongoing sinus issues.

I couldn't be happier with the treatment I've received from both Dr Jacques & Dr Kariyawasam. After years of using the same non effective anti histamines from my GP I feel like my hayfever symptoms were finally taken seriously and for the first time, I have been able to enjoy a summer symptom free. Harsha and Simon are an excellent team, and are supported by an efficient administration at the clinic. Great insight into my condition followed by a successful and innovative treatment plan. Dr Kariyawasam is a pleasure to deal with and always takes time to explain every detail of the treatment plan and the drugs that will be used. There are no questions or concerns that he will not take the time to address. Have recommended the clinic to others and the experience has been the same. If you have nose or sinus issues then this is the place to visit.

Had a great diagnostic and endoscopy experience with Dr Kariyawasam. He helped me to understand that what I thought was a sinus problem was really a tooth problem but that I also do have an unrelated chronic sinus problem. I now have steps that I can take to deal with both of these issues and a clearer understanding of what's going on with my body. What was also very helpful was his advice regarding suitable procedures/treatments/medicines and cost as this is relatively expensive if you're just walking in off the street like I did.

I can't recommend Dr Kariyawasam highly enough. I had seen a total of 5 eminent ENT specialists who hadn't been able to solve my persistent sinus pain. Dr Kariyawasam approached the problem like a detective, using multiple angles of investigation, and found a cure. He's genuinely concerned for his patients and deeply knowledgeable. I'd also note (when I approached him on behalf of family members later on) that he didn't hesitate to suggest top specialists in other areas whom he thought would be more suitable. This generosity and selflessness, putting the interests of the patient first, is how medicine should work, but rarely does. I really do think he's a superb doctor.
