Severn View Hotel
the worst bar man i have ever met, so unfriendly and clearly only cared about himself and going home, not his clients. needs to be sacked as in the wrong industry. didn’t get name but if asian origin. ruined the day for us, sad pathetic little man with clear envy of anyone successful. Please get rid of him and employ better staff, not the pits

Perfect location on the Severn, in walking distance from the centre, main attractions, bars and restaurants.Good value for money, nice pub and welcoming staff.

Severn View Hotel
Charming hotel located a central location in Worcester. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.Rooms have a very nice view to the river Severn. Showers had a great water pressure. All in all, an ideal place to stay for a weekend away in Worcester!

Severn View Hotel
We stayed in the hotel for our visit to Worcester. We guessed from the loose stair carpets and general down kept look of the hotel side, that things may be in transition to give it a massive face lift and things could only get better. We got the feeling that the staff were doing their best for us. They were very pleasant and courteous but the state of the hotel, didn't reflect their positiveness. On the other hand, we also saw a 'beaten' persona with them. Our guess is the owner seems to be just coining it in and not investing in the building, to meet flood defences and precautions, when the rains arrive later in the year. The breakfast was also in a down trodden mood. Budget taste with a hint of cold beans and overcooked eggs. Also saw a health and safety issue. A smashed, still connected socket plug in the breakfast corridor. Maybe also replace the breakfast seating. Sitting on planks of wood, doesn't reflect the word, cosy or hotel. Thanks to all the staff for catering to our needs but we probably won't be back.

Severn View Hotel
Situated opposite the river Severn and also close enough to walk to town, we were fortunate enough to be on the side of the building with the best views. We were greeted on arrival by Indy Singh and he was very friendly as he went through the basics for the hotel. Unfortunately our booking didn't include breakfast however we upgraded for £12 and it was worth it. The room in question was suitable and met our requirements, fresh towels were on each bed at arrival, along with coffee and tea available if wanted. Served breakfast in the morning and checking out couldn't have been easier. Will definitely recommend to any friends needing a half way stop when travelling or when visiting Worcester. Also several car parks in the immediate vicinity offer 24 hr parking. We used Croft Rd car park where it was £4 for 24 hrs.

This hotel was booked last minute by my friend.I dont usually care enough to write a review but when I do I leave it a few weeks to make sure its a fair and not in the heat of a bad experience, I know that can be damning for businesses. I wish we had looked at the reviews and steered clear of this place and if you're more sensible than me you will after this.Upon arrival things were fine, everyone friendly. Even got to check in a little early as there was no one in room 2 yesterday so its all ready" great!. Yes it was a bit rough round the edges and it appeared that there was some work going on so thought it'll do for 1 night.We checked in

A very basic hotel. Staff were pleasant but the room was very very basic. No shower rail or curtain around the bath. Toilet wobbled when sat upon.

I spent last night in room 11. TV didn't work, cracked tiles the bathroom, leaking toilet, tap that wouldn't fully shut off, shower fluctuating hot and cold, bathroom door falling apart. Bathroom very run down with moldy silicone everywhere I looked. Not at all impressed, even with the cheap price tag I expected better. To top it all off, the complimentary breakfast had mold on it. Needless to say i didn't eat any of it, and I wouldn't stay again.Plus point, good locationAdam

The room was cute with a lovely old fireplace. It didn't work but it was cute. It was warm and had large windows for good light. There was free WiFi and the owner was really friendly and welcoming. The parking is only £6 per day however i do prefer free parking. There was actually free shampoo and lotion along with soap which is a nice change. However the bad things. My Mugs were dirty. The bed was so low it was hard to get off of. The mattress was very hard and the pillows are hard and flat also which gave me a bad nights sleep. The TV was so small we had to drag the table all the way over to the bed. The towel rail was none existent. And the toilet had zero leg room. There are good close shops and restaurants which is nice because the pub doesn't serve evening food. All in all i think If he dropped £20 off the price and cleaned the mugs it would be fine for a quick one night. Defo not good for more than one day.
