It was the only place we could eat one night in Portree. Everywhere else you must have a reservation or be standing in line by 5pm.The people that got the fish n chips in my group enjoyed it! I had the chicken nuggets which weren’t that good but it’s okay- that’s not what they are known for!

Super quick food, they have takeout or dining on the picnic benches. Fish and chips was a great portion, and had really good flavor

If you're looking for the worst chippy in the whole of Scotland, you might have just landed yourself lucky. This has to be the worst chips I have ever had in my life. Managed to eat about half of them due to the fact that I paid for them, but the rest went to the bin and even that spat them back out. 11/10 wouldn't recommend.Guide speed.

It was a rainy day.We found this place and met a lovely lady.She gave us a charming smile.The fish and chips are excellent.The chicken nuggets are crispy!I highly recommend this place for having a quick lunch!

Visited Portree during off-season, so our options were a bit limited when it came to inexpensive restaurants that were open. Came here based on the ratings and some of the photos. Ended up being all right. It was very busy and they were churning out food pretty fast. We would have stayed and eaten our fried pies and chips at their outdoor tables, but a little wasp/yellow jacket found me extra interesting and I didn't have it in me to put up with the critter, so we took our meals to our accommodation. The pies were good. Good crust, nice filling, a bit greasy, but that's fried food for you. Unfortunately, our batch of chips were very bland and stale; perhaps pairing them with a sauce would've been the way to go, but we didn't do that. Price wise, they were fair for the portions you get.

This was the best fish and chips I have had since visiting UK. My husband and sat outside under the awning while it was sprinkling, which seems to make the whole experience that much better. Also love that wrapped our food in paper. The gentleman taking orders and cooking was very polite and great customer service!!!!
