“GUEST HOUSE PARADISO”Wanted a family room for the night.Reviews weren’t great but limited availability everywhere.On arrival it did look like a building from Pripyat.Staff were ok but straight away was a strong stench of weed!, inside the labyrinth of 1970’s corridors was a musty smell mixed with stale smoke.Room was ok, tv was smaller than my iPad.Hole in ceiling?Door handle fell apart.Slept ok.Radiators hot.Towels were stained,looked like blood.Supplied kettle looked rusty inside so I gave coffee a miss.Overall, place was tired,not very clean.Only good thing was it had hot water.Main door was impossible to open and lock. Rooms 17 onwards reeked of weed! I dunno if he’s growing it there or half the hotel is being used for social housing??.It does say no smoking but whole place stinks of smoke.Free limited space on site parking.I didn’t wanna risk breakfast, dining room door locked anyway.As we left some guy walked out the building smoking and another whiff of weed from the open windows sent us on our way.I would never return!Wasn’t dirt cheap for a room either.

The location is great if you want to go climbing but the hotel/rooms look like they were built in the 70s and not touched or cleaned since and there's a sign in the rooms saying breakfast until 9am but we got there at half 8 one of the days and no breakfast or anyone in the dining area

Absolutely awful, the place needs gutting and renovating and properly cleaning!!We wanted to stay as a family for 2 adults and 2 young teens. We’re told we had to book 2 rooms a family room (which had a double and one single) and a twin. As we had to have one adult with each child we had come to terms with being split up! On check in the family room was big enough for the 4 of us with a double and 2 singles. But as there was a no refund policy we had toe 2 rooms anyway.The room was falling apart, and disgusting! Yes it’s dated but that would be acceptable as character if it was actually clean. The dust was awful, windows black with mould, blinds thick with dust. The tea cups where sticky like old grease to touch and disgusting! WiFi was no existent due to the multiple ‘extender’s’ just not cutting it.The TV barely stayed on for a few minutes as signal dropped out and the bedding was thread bare and in need of a decent wash it, it didn’t look clean and definitely didn’t smell clean!There is holes in walls gaps in ceilings it’s just in a very very poor state of repair. The photos on booking.com are at least 10 years out of date! It felt like I had booked a room in a doss house. Can not express enough how much everyone should avoid!

Lack of staff, it's dirty rooms, hall ways dirty dining room every thing on the table was dirty the break fast was fried and had black bits on, it tasted like stale oil. A couple running this hotel that need some serious help with the running of day to day tasks to bring it up to standard. Location great.

To be short its awful. The whole building is dirty, inside and outside too. The car parking place was full with trash. The door handlers barely working, we wasnt able to lock the room properly. We spent 3 night here, the workers didnt epties the trash, neither collect the used towels or give fresh one. The wifi is weak. The windows are thin and old, we suffered from traffick noises. The tv is a joke, very small. The bathroom is disgusting, dirty and poor quality. The shower's tap was broken, we could barely change the temperature. The weather was chilly for us (15c), but the radiators didnt worked.

What a dump! The smell is very disgusting, beds look like someone had slept in them previously with blood and hair on the bed protector sheet. The electric cables hang precariously outside and as for the fire escape....well that rotted away 10 years ago! We paid for breakfasts for us all, but can not rate as we left promptly before breakfast...This place really needs demolishing and rebuilding.I think this is a hostel not a B&B.

Only positive is that it's very cheap and if your looking for a cheap place for an overnight it works.Bed was comfortable and bedding was freshNegatives,Very outdated, musky, smells of smoke, people smoking cannabis outside and smell came in through the window as doesn't close properly.Probably won't stay again

This so called hotel is absolutely disgusting, it needs a good inspection, mouldy pillowcases, stains on towels and bed sheets, knew the bathroom hadn't been cleaned as horrible water stains on shower door, dead spider in the corner of bathroom so clearly the floor hadn't been cleaned, dust on table lamps were that bad you could write your name in it.Smell was musty and horrible.Carpets stained,In the morning going for breakfast was like a maze getting to dinning room, the hallway all way through to there stank and carpets were stained, drinking glasses, juice jugs, plates knives and forks on table weren't washed properly, place mats and table clothes were dirty,Asked for scrambled eggs on toast, had one spoonful of egg spat it out as it was vile, I never ate or drank a thing, my partner had a bacon sandwich he said that wasn't to bad,Flies on windows cills in dinning area, worst B&B I have stayed in, it's more like a hostel. Seriously needs a good inspection or shutting down as God knows why it's still able to be a B&B. It's vile
