My daughter loves her drama and singing lessons at this school. Having helped at their recent show with all the various dancing and acro groups involved (all ages) I'm so impressed! We've tried several places but Heather Millan is the most professional school you could choose in Norwich. The girls have such a rich experience from their training through to show day. I recommed highly. Also a massive plus that the classes don;t swallow your weekends. Many are available after school Monday to Friday.

I write arts reviews for the Eastern Daily Press and a number of specialist magazines especially in the areas of classical, jazz, blues and other music. As an alto sax player myself, I also have an personal interest in these sectors. I attended the outstanding 'Flopsical' show, which I reviewed for the EDP and for the GrapeVine events magazine. It was a wonderful evening with almost non-stop songs, great hilarity and simply perfect interplay between the members of the cast. I must congratulate Heather and and her team for excellent work on the choreography and other performance skills. This is my review:COULD THIS BE THE BEST FLOP EVER SEEN?If the measure of a comedy is how much the audience laugh, then Flopsical sets a new record. The capacity audience at the Assembly House loved the captivating skill of the cast and the delightfully whimsy of the almost non-stop songs. Happily, this is a truly Norfolk creation moving out across the county on a 12 date tour. This musical gem is an irreverent celebration of flop shows from Broadway and the West End. The whole concept was devised, written and directed by the multi-talented Adrian Wright; he has defined a Flopsical as an ambitious musical that may have had masses of talent and buckets of money behind it, yet still became a major flop. Sometimes the whole show would be a disaster and sometimes just a ludicrous song would be enough - such as the inspiringly banal ditty about wallpaper and - you truly need to hear this gem - a love song to a pony. It made some of us almost cry, not entirely because of the moving lyrics! Of course, the history of musical flops is full of painfully unforgettable songs, including the work of some great names such as Rodgers and Hart, Noel Coward, Irving Berlin, Ivor Novello, Jerome Kern and Vincent Youmans.Flopsical gallops along at a terrific pace, driven by an energetic cast, headed by the melodramatic author, Adrian Wright, plus the multi-talented, Helen McDermott, joined by the magical and enchanting Susie Turner, with the players regularly interrupted by an imperious commentator, John Knowles.A special commendation must also be given to the amazing pianist, Annette Jude. As the solo instrumental support to the happy cast, to call her playing glorious would be an understatement. My own special delight was songs from probably the most notorious British musical of all time, The World of Paul Slickey, written by the late, slightly self-important John Osborne - numbers unheard since the show closed in 1959.Roger Haywood

The Heather Milan Dance School allows children to enjoy dancing and performing without putting the fear of God in them that they might be doing something wrong. It is friendly for parents as well as for performers - and the shows they put on are simply awesome. Truely family run businesses are rare these days; signing my daughter up here was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

A really friendly professional family business!! My little girl's started when she was 3 and 5 years on still going!! The experiences the girls get from Dancing in many theatres to dancing with professionals (someone from. Strictly, the greatest showman!) is brilliant!! I can't imagine our weekend without dancing now!!
