I have to say, in spite of the negative points to follow, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. However, the room was very small, a little run down, and windowless, making it an unpleasant place to be in for any length of time. No complaints on the cleanliness.The breakfast that was included was good in terms of the quality. However, the portion size is miniscule rendering the full" in full English somewhat oxymoronic. The eggs Benedict consisted of a very mean single egg on one half of an English muffin. There was a selection of sliced bread

The most incredible hotel. The staff are the most pleasant people i’ve ever come across, caring and super friendly. They go above and beyond to make you have the best stay possible. 10/10 each night i’ve stayed, would stay again if the chance arose. A good selection for breakfast too.

Bed was two beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable. Shower was attached to taps in the bath and had to hold it to wash. Bath was ok. Wasn't given the breakfast menu when we checked in which didn't make the morning staff happy. They did make hot food for us but was very aware we were putting them out. Good location.

Service & helpful staff 1st class my wife's meal she really enjoyed I had chicken & Leek pie with a flaky pastry top which made the meal dry a pot of gravy would have helpedThe chips tasted of fish which was off putting

Gratefully accommodated very late (10pm with no where to stay!) Rooms clean., not luxury but nice. Breakfast excellent. Service very friendly and personal. Location decent with several local pubs/takeaways/coop etc. Pub downstairs noisy on a sat night but room silent

The food here is absolutely outstanding! We popped in for dinner one night during our break in Wooler and were gobsmacked by how good the food was. Meat cooked to perfection, vegetables fresh, and the service was lovely. We spoke to the lady at the bar who gave us some recommendations for walks in the area and spoke to the chef who was also really friendly. Would absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for a bite to eat in the Wooler area. We’ll be back!

Arrived soaking wet and grubby from a days mountain biking on Monday and was met by an incredibly friendly warm welcome. Everyone at the hotel was thoughtful and attentive - really felt welcome. Highly recommended

We booked here as we was visiting to see bamburgh castle and the holy island..lovely stylish hotel. Food was lovely too. The chilli bites with chilli jam the nicest thing I have ever eaten!

Stopped off for food, lovely meals and dog friendly - he enjoyed the treat in the end! Service great and friendly. Nice stop off if you're in the area.
