The Ben Doran Guesthouse
Pleasent enough guesthouse in a nice quiet part of Edinburgh. The guesthouse is clean and well kept, the rooms just feel a bit dated. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was pretty good in reasonably sized dining room with a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely room, comfortable bed. Shared bathroom, so may have to wait.Good choices for breakfast. Gluten free options available, toast done on grill, so separate from bread containing gluten. Thank you for the care and attention.

A small guesthouse with its own character and style. Exceptional service. Tasty and plentiful breakfasts, I especially recommend the scrambled eggs and toast. Some rooms without private bathroom. Rooms facing the front street can hear traffic, which may be disturbing to some guests.

A nice B&B. Very friendly inkeepers and staff. No car neede if Edinburgh is the last stay before returning home. Public transportation right in front of the guest house.

The Ben Doran Guesthouse
Stopped here for a couple of nights while in Edinburgh to see the Military Tattoo. Absolutely perfect for me. Clean, comfortable and a nice breakfast that set me up for the day. There's a bus stop opposite although I chose to walk which took about half an hour. I was in a single room so had a shared bathroom which again was clean and had a decent shower. Planning my next visit now and will definitely use the Ben Doran again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the wonderful city of Edinburgh.

The Ben Doran Guesthouse
We had a very pleasant stay at this guest house. The property is located in a prime location. The services provided were excellent. We had asked for an early breakfast and taxi in the morning for our departure. We were provided with a proper take away breakfast and taxi arrived on time, which made our onward journey hassle free. So five star ratings for the guesthouse.

The Ben Doran Guesthouse
I stayed here for a night and it was wonderful. I met the owners and the staff and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The place is lovely and decorated. They make you feel safe and at home. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a short 12 minute drive to the main city area. Great environment and clean.

Only about 25 minutes walk from central Edinburgh. Very friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. The mushrooms were delicious. Nice big bedroom. Comfy very large bed.
