I cannot recommend your services after our experience today. My nans dog needed emergency treatment at 9am and we phoned. He was collapsed and needed urgent care. We were told to wait until the appointment at 2pm. When I asked if a nurse could triage him and ask to give him pain relief earlier I was told that this would not be possible. I was told to keep him at home where he may be more comfortable? Right…I phoned another vets and they understood that he needed emergency treatment as soon as possible. They registered him even though we were not their clients and agreed to see him despite also being fully booked and extremely busy. We are extremely upset and we hope that the practice can change their protocols when it comes to emergency patients as it is a duty of care to keep an animal from suffering regardless of how booked up the appointment schedule is.We are glad that our little boy is resting at peace now

Thank you so much to everyone! Cant thank this vets enough for all the lovely kindness and care they have with our dogs. Everyone who works there is always so lovely and friendly. We have had a couple operations and usual treatments, and they are always a reasonable cost, I never feel they have added as much onto the price as they can, always very good. Always very friendly to us and our dogs, always speak to and about our dogs lovingly. They are brilliant.

My dog, Gary, has been a frequent flyer lately and each time has been seen to with care, attentiveness and professionalism. Beth and Simon are amazing vets and is so patient with Gary. The receptionists are also amazing and accommodating, they always manage to squeeze me in on the day which I really appreciate. We used to travel from London because they're the only vets I trust and we are super grateful to have found them. Would highly recommend!!

Excellent vets practice, independent, family run. Staff from receptionists to nurses and vet owners are all proficient and friendly. Head and shoulders above the opposition.

I had to have my dear cat Shearer put to rest here last week. The vet was amazing. Kind, empathetic and allowed me the time and a quiet place to make any decisions and to say goodbye to her. Their aftercare service is friendly and gentle. Thank you so much for all your support through that heartbreaking time.

First I will start with the positives. The practice is very attractive. The building is lovely and so are its grounds. The staff are, I feel, very well trained and are knowledgeable about veterinary care. The young female vet I have seen on the last two occasions was also very nice to deal with, good with my dog and professional. However, I have had two really quite bad experiences with the practice which have left me feeling that myself and my dog are just a number and more needs to be done in taking care when dealing with individual situations. At around 8 months old I took my Golden Retriever puppy in to see Adam as she was limping and her legs look strange. I was advised she needed an Xray. The Xray happened and I was called to be told the devasting news that Bella had an incredibly rare condition (1 in 13 million rare!) and the only thing that would help is to see the 'super vet' and that essentially without surgery she would likely go lame. Due to the fact I had recently switched my dog's insurance I was not covered for the £20,000 surgery costs which were quoted to me - bear in mind I am also a single parent with a young child. The 'super vets' were very unhelpful and not nice to deal with - they were not willing to discuss a payment plan and the best way to describe them would be to say that they were extremely arrogant - look at their patient reviews on TrustPilot and you will probably decide not to send your pets for treatment there, however famous they are. Anyway...I shared this with the practice...that we were now in a difficult position and I was given no advice or help as to what I could or should do. If I was a vet, interested in pet care, and I saw a dog with an extremely rare condition, I think I would be interested in being involved in the case and would do what I could to support the owner. I am not suggesting they give me lots of free appointments, but they could have referred my dog to a veterinary physiotherapist for assessment. They could have done a pain assessment etc etc. They recommended nothing. We were not supported or advised and so I took it upon myself to help my dog (she is doing well in regards to her legs and she has had no surgery...not that the practice would know.) So I was not happy about that. Note: Do not rush to surgery with your pets. Try and take a measured and 'wait and see' approach. Surgery won't necessarily fix things and your pet may adapt. Then this morning at 4am Bella woke me up as she had bad diarrhoea. This happened four more times and then she threw up three times. I left a message at 7am in the morning asking for an urgent appointment and was given 8:45am. I arrived with my daughter and Bella late - at around 9am. This was because I was managing a poorly dog. When we arrived I was told we had to wait as the next patient was being seen - fine, I understand that. While we waited Bella was sick on the surgery floor. At 9:30am a member of the reception team came and told me that she didn't know when the vet would be able to fit me in now as she had lots of other patients. I was standing there with my 8 year old who I needed to take to school. I explained I needed to be given a time and asked why we couldn't just be seen after the patient who was on time after us? I realise it was our fault we were late but it does not make sense to be then forced to wait endlessly, especially as my dog was throwing up on the floor of their practice. The other dogs in the room where not in the same state. I got annoyed and said we would have to leave only to take Bella outside and for her to throw up twice. At that point I was really annoyed. I had a sick dog that needed to be seen. Yes I was late but we had been there for 40 minutes now. Because I went back in and caused a fuss for my dog we were then seen. But...there was a total lack of awareness of both my dog being sick and needing to see someone, the fact we had been waiting for 40 minutes, and the fact my 8 year old was standing there in her school uniform plainly needing to go to school. What was that all about??

Had our cat Maxi put down last month. Obviously it was a very upsetting time, but Vicky was so kind and patient during the process and made it as painless as possible. We even received a condolence card and a clay paw print! Lovely vets, can't thank them enough.
