A great club to watch sport on tv or play snooker or darts or just watch when the darts team are ar home, a warm friendly venue to relax and enjoy a pint or whatever your favourite tipple happens to be.

A very friendly place, bar.staff very helpful, 3 sooner tables, pool, darts teams on Friday night, football channels, and cheapest prices in the area.

I have got to say that I wasn't impressed with this venue at all. We attended a Saturday night party in the function room. The room is large but the seating was arranged in such a way that isolated people into groups rather than everyone together. The room is very dated and carpets very old and worn. The two male bar staff were brilliant and very efficient but that's where the praise ends for this review. Our friends booked the room until 1am however the bar staff told the DJ to announce last orders at 11.45pm so a couple of drinks were ordered. Red velvet curtains were pulled across the bar as soon as the service ceased and it reminded me of being at the crematorium. Then just after midnight, the music was turned off and fluorescent lights suddenly replaced the lighting from the disco. For nearly an hour, we sat chatting and finishing the drinks we had bought with no music or atmosphere before a large female who had not previously been in the room started grabbing drinks off the table in front of the customers. She was abrupt and rude to the guests with an attitude of 'we've had your money and now I want to go home'.Her social skills with the guest were non existent and the party would have ended so differently had a little communication like drink up now please" been offered.I was so disappointed with this venue and wouldn't/couldn't recommend the function room for your party."

I could not recommend this place highly enough.The staff are amazing and what was a very stressful start to a family Christmas get together (due to another local venue, nothing to do with the conservative club), ended up a lovely day which everyone enjoyed. This was entirely down to the staff and the fact that they went out of their way to make it brilliant.Thank you very much!!

The 2 Lads Behind The Bar Are Spot On, They Deliver Your Order Of Drinks As Soon As You Order Them, Helen Is Not A Great Manager She Would Rather Chat On The Phone Than Serve You.I Have Been Here At The Club At 7Pm When It Opens & Helen Had Not Even Opened The Front Door, It Took Until 7.30 To Receive A Drink, Which I Find Terrible As She Is Supposed To Be The Manager Of This Establishment.
