Mishandled a whistleblowing case in a manner which, if it weren’t for such serious repercussions for those involved, would be frankly comical. Totally botched the investigation, exposed the whistleblower who wished to remain anonymous and allowed significant witness tampering (which had been warned of and well-evidenced during). Somehow came to the exact opposite conclusion of reality despite evidence and testimony otherwise, and cost a small charity large amounts in golden goodbyes and legal fees. Made little attempt to reassure threatened staff and no effort to investigate obvious coercion - even asked staff to name and shame the whistleblower in a staggering display of contempt. Disastrous from start to finish with foul results still affecting the mental health, reputation, safety and financial well-being of many involved, four years later. Avoid like the plague.
