Hart of Shetland

Beautifully hand-crafted rugs that come with a wonderful story. These rugs are of such high quality and what really appealed to me was that they are hand-felted and are therefore made with no harm to the sheep! Helen communicated with me brilliantly, allowing me to have complete choice over the shade of the rug (sheep dependent of course!). Will definitely be buying another soon! Thanks Helen!

Helen created a work of art in sheep fleece!I have been following Hart of Shetland for some time on Instagram and when I saw her cruelty free felted sheep fleece rugs I knew I had to commission one, I asked if she would be willing to make a giant version, she was kind enough to take on the challenge and here it is, absolutely fabulous, a combination of 8 fleeces painstakingly put together with a felted backing, I adore it, Helen usually names the rugs after the sheep who produced the wonderful fleece but she said she lost count so decided to call it ‘The Burra Rug’
 included in this name are fleeces from her Shetland sheep, Cookie, Golden Girl and Pepperpot (the moorit girls)Helen thankyou so much, I love it!you are so talented and must have the patience of a saint!

Helen produced the most beautiful fleece rug for us. She even stitched our wedding date on the back for us (happy wedding day to us!). I absolutely love that it looks just like a sheep skin but without any harm or cruelty caused to the animals. Our pup loves it too. Thanks so much Helen!
